1) When you saved the settings, you ignored the warning about using PHP: "The Default (PHP) mailer is currently selected, but is not recommended because in most cases it does not resolve email delivery issues." 2) Just FYI, the email test now appears under Tools rather than on the main menu. 3) Email test now shows a large display for "Success!" instead of a small one-liner 4) I did everything as suggested, and the test came back "Success!". However, the email STILL does not arrive. I suspect that the problem involves the use of that default mailer we were warned against?
Thanks worked for me too! Worth mentioning that I had to place my company name related to me website in where the email had to be sent - for it to work. Great stuff!

I'm using AWS for a WordPress site, do I select AWS when in SMTP settings?
Can you do an updated video. Wordpress has made some changes, so it's hard to follow along.
The mailer you've selected (mail) is not currently supported by our Domain Checker.

Why do we even need WP mail SMTP? Can't wordpress just send an email when a contact form is submitted? I don't understand why SMTP is even necessary
