Thank you very much ! Please can you tell me if WP mail SMTP works well with Roundcube webmail ? And how must I do to set it ? I have already a webmail account by the way.
Hello there! I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we have no information on compatibility between the WP Mail SMTP plugin and Roundcube software, unfortunately. So you better reach out to them to check this out.
Hello there! I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we have no information on whether this can be done through DNS records or your hosting provider. So you better contact your hosting provider with this question. Thanks!
Hello there! Thank you for your question and your feedback, we appreciate it. Please be informed that for this video tutorial, we used Google's Mailer (Gmail) which requires you to create a project in your Google Cloud: developers.google.com/workspace/guides/create-project. This part is covered in the "Obtaining Client ID and Client Secret for the Gmail mailer" section of the video: 05:25 - 09:33. So double-check it and let us know if you have any additional questions or if something's not clear enough.
Hi I have cloudflare firewall rules in my website which blocks the backend for admin I did the rules for blocking hackers. When the firewall is activated the SMTP contact form does not work. Any suggestions?
Hello there! We're sorry to hear that you faced such an issue. But I would like to inform you that we don't support third-party solutions and we're not familiar with all the plugin features. So we can't say what the reason could be, I'm afraid. On this matter, I may only recommend you contact the plugin support for them to try to assist you with that. Thank you!
Hello, I have followed all the steps you indicate, but when I get to do the test, I get the following errors: - "It doesn't look like the SPF record required by Google has been added to your domain." - "It doesn't look like the DKIM record required by Google has been added to your domain." What I can do?
Hello there! Sorry to hear that you faced such an issue and thank you for your question. From these error messages that you mentioned, it looks like you selected the Google/Gmail SMPT email provider during the SMTP plugin configuration on your website. However, your domain doesn't seem to work with it because of these missing DNS TXT records that store keys that are used to verify an email's authenticity. So in this case, you may either contact your hosting provider and ask whether it's possible to add them for you or not. Or, you may simply try to set everything up using another SMTP provider like "SMTP.com" or "Mailgun", for example.
Hello, Seti! Sorry to hear that. Could you please specify what was bad, exactly? Was it something in our video tutorial or the SMTP plugin configuration procedure? Please, let us know so we can improve it in our future videos. Thank you!
I followed all the steps, and it was successful.
Thanks a lot.
