Why I QUIT being an Influencer... & why I’m coming back to it [my BIGGEST life regret]

Thank you for being so open and sharing your story! Your story hit home for me because I've been in the same situation as you. I didn't become as successful as you but I have been spending the last decade switching careers and constantly starting and stopping blogs/social media. I love that you switched around the wording of being a creative! It actually helps ease off the pressure when I think about it! I think I may have an issue with sticking to creating content because of all the rules that are thrown around to helping it grow. You may have just helped me uncover that!😅

I created this video hoping that it would help someone out there with similar experiences ❤ You're so right, there are so many rules thrown around, and sometimes they even contradict one another. If there's anything I've noticed during my time in this space it's that when it comes to building a personal brand or business, there is no one "correct way" to do it. Are there certain things that might make it easier or faster? Sure, but what I've found most important is that I stay true to myself and make sure I feel good with what I'm creating (whether or not it actually leads to "success"). I hope you can start ignoring some of those rules and hopefully find consistency! ❤

Just subscribed. You don't know how much this resonates right now. I also realised fairly recently that (a) I just can't do a 9-5 in a way that is healthy and sustainable, no matter how much I want to, and (b) I'm a creative who wants to do many different things and explore. Love the idea of describing yourself as an entrepreneurial creative 😊 Anyway, this video was super reassuring and made me feel less alone in this figuring-my-life-out process. Thanks 🙏

Awww I'm so glad this was reassuring for you ❤ You're definitely not alone in wanting to do lots of things and explore... and there are so many great ways to do that!! It's also been helpful for me to remember that it's about the journey, not the destination, and I'll never have it all "figured out". I'm just out here doing things that I'm excited about and it seems to be working out well so far!
