For most the indians that apparently don't take the plastic sticker off, remove it. It will look better without it, and things in life are meant to be enjoyed, not kept safe from use to it's potential. If you buy a nice TV enjoy it.

This is not a screen protector. You are supposed to remove it because it reduces image quality and does affect the tv by trapping the heat.

If you don't remove that cover the temparature of the screen increases it can lead to damage the screen
