Thank you for your tutorial, it was really easy to follow. I like that you write what you do rather than say it, I found it easier to undestand. I used different yarn and therefore crochet hook size, it came out slightly smaller but still beautiful.

Great pattern thanks so much 😂 my only quandary was that with my thin cotton I used a 3.5mm hook instead and found that I needed 130 ch for the handles, but that could just be my height playing into that decision also. I'm using thermal sc for the handles to ensure sturdiness and less stretch. Hopefully it all works out 🤞 I'll let you know when I'm finished 😊

I am confused 😕 after the row 3 you say dc in each stitch, that means that at the end of the corners do I need to the 2dc x3 and in the other corner the slip stitch as you showed until the row 3? Or should I just continue with dc in each stitch?? Sorry, very beginner speaking here 😔

Does it change a lot if I only have a 3.5 mm hook or do I need a 3 mm one?
I am using a 4.5mm hook and my bag is huge, so I think it does matter :P but I'm sure .5mm difference is fine

im using acrylic yarn and it works fine. im sure the pattern will work, youll just have to use the correct hook size :)

I would assume you can adjust the size. As long as you do it for all the bag so it would be even.
Hello, I'm new to crochet and I've been trying to follow this tutorial. I've had to redo the 1st row three times already because I only get 105 stitches instead of 106... This is really frustrating ! Any idea why I might have this problem ? And can I continue on with the project even though I don't have the correct number of stitches at this stage ? Thanks a lot !!!
Are you counting the initial ch3 as a stitch? Also important to be careful to slip stitch to the top of the ch3 at the end of the row because that's easily missed as I also found out a couple of times 😵 using stitch markers would solve this easy to make mistake

I've tried to do this bag and undone it . I thought I had done it wrong as a diagonal seam was forming where you join each round. Is there any way of stopping this?
If you look at 20:05, you'll see the diagonal seam going from about the center top down to the right side. I had the same issue and I think it is supposed to happen.
You could turn on each row to avoid this

Ok and also did you suddenly start going under both loops at that point, because at some point you're only going under the top loop

I just don't know why my work is curving just right after colour change
It's bc the stitches are different. I don't know how her work isn't bc mine kept curving too, so I changed to a larger hook size after the colour change and that worked to keep it flat and straight
How many yarns do I need to do this?

@@pesiaorjewel9825 I think so. I just got done with the base and am building up. Row 3-9 I'm just building up from the base.
@@pesiaorjewel9825 If it'a curling a lot, it could be that you have too much tension in your stitches, maybe try a slightly larger hook or loosening your slack yarn a bit as you're holding it
Can you make a smaller version?
You can probably do fewer stitches in your starting chain and achieve the same result but smaller! :)
