South Park - Red Man's Greed [Season 7, Episode 7] Reaction
In the episode, the owners of the Three Feathers Native-American Casino have acquired the town of South Park. The citizens are being forced off their land to make way for a new super highway. Faced with saying goodbye to their friends and their way of life, the boys rally the townspeople to fight back against the rich and powerful Native Americans.

alex won a competition to appear on south park- he was a 17 year old kid who won against thousands who competed for the spot.
Yet Alex was shown to be the same age as the main characters.
@@johnwiesner9590yeah which is pretty ironic
@@johnwiesner9590 I mean the prize for the contest did specify that it was to appear as a South Park kid, as I recall.
But why was he given only a few seconds of screen time?
@@Azurethewolf168because the trey and matt were unaware of the contest and they didnt want to do it
As a Native American myself this episode always makes me laugh. I like to quote it from time to time. 🤣
Do you laugh in rhythm?
Same
Native American reservations are technically their own countries inside of America (with their own laws, police, government, etc.). So gambling may be totally illegal in a state, but if the property is owned by the tribe, they can do whatever they want.
Yep that's how it was in Oklahoma. Also had to pay very little taxes on said casinos
I guess so, but that doesn’t really stop companies from infringing even upon that.
The jurisdiction of Indian lands gets rather complicated as they have their own governments, but the reservations are situated on Federal U.S. government land.
So they can make their own rules per say... but not really as they don't own the land they live on.
Almost except in Texas Reservations aren't allowed to have casinos
@@6TomCruz6 there I are 4 that I know that are Indian casino’s sir as I live in texas, casinos are legal on reservations under federal law. Only states with none are Utah Hawaii, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Alaska and Virginia. And the only thing that makes gambling illegal here in tax is electronic games but…. Indian land is a loophole for it.
randy's delivery in the car "okay, stan?" is so perfect. i hate that attitutde, it's so dismissive like they're above you, they're embarrassed and deserve to get called out on their shit.
"Alex Glick, voiced by himself, had won a contest that allowed him to be in South Park for a guest appearance in the Season Seven episode, "Red Man's Greed", for being the highest bidder at a charity auction to benefit AIDS research."
Yes, many casinos are native american owned and operated. Reservations have their own laws so especially in areas where gambling is illegal, the only legal places to gamble are on reservations.
yep, i live in upstate ny and there are so many native-run casinos up here. turning stone is the big one near me. now the native americans are being given special rights to grow and run marijuana businesses around here too.
was just about to say this lol
Besides Texas Reservations
@@env0xsame in Canada and our tribes can set their own legal thc limits and lower taxes on weed I can get strong weed for 5 bucks on the res
@@env0x Native American casinos were the only ones in New York state until 10 years ago. Then the state started opening their own with Native disapproval.
Tribal casinos are a real thing, and they are not bound by laws of the US government. They are on sovereign land and considered to be a different country. They can basically do whatever they want if there is a dispute because players have to make a case to the tribal council, which is controlled by the tribal chief. There is a famous lawyer named Bob Nersesian who represents amateur and professional gamblers, and he has a chapter in his book called "Indian Gaming: OMG, WTF."
Indian is not really that offensive to native amaricans infact some nations use the name officially. Its other people being offended for them.
0:45 Yes. Casinos are legal on Native American lands, even in states where it would be illegal (for instance in my state of California). It’s sort of a consolation prize for taking over the rest of the land lol.
Edit: oh I see this has been answered a couple times already. My bad. I’ll leave it here for the algorithm though.
They didn't say "you can run casinos our bad" it's just they decided to let Native Americans have their own laws.
I've been doing chemo therapy (one week on, one week off) for the past two years, and I gotta say, Sprite breaks up and washed away the glue like phlegm that's one of the side effects.
🤣🖤
"Premise running thin" sounds like how you'd call the latest addition to a numerous family.
A lot of natives call themselves Indians over here .
It’s the same thing with everything else that’s “offensive”
A loud minority somehow represents the majority .
When everyone else is just trying to live their lives .
Most casinos are owned by Native Reservations, Primm in Nevada is a good example of casinos that are native owned.
I'm so glad you reacted to this episode. I knew you would get a kick out of it. Its funny because when i was younger and if I got sick, I would always eat Campbell's chicken noodle soup, take some over the counter cough and cold medicine, and have either sprite, 7up or ginger ale, lol.
In Michigan it was Vernors that we drank when we were sick.
Eh, for like a cold or respiratory stuff, it was hot tea for me. Ginger ale was for a stomach bug, though honestly I like ginger ale anytime.
So you definitely aren’t native American
The way they laugh... has to be one of the best bits in all of South Park... rofl
Though I'm sure this has already been answered; Yes, many tribes have casinos on their reservations to bring in money for the community.
I'm not entirely sure if it's the same for all tribes but I know a lot of them give a percentage of the revenue to every adult on the reservation.
It's really interesting when you look into it. Although they're technically considered a part of the US, reservations have their own laws, police, as well as government as a whole.
That was part of the deal when the US Indian war ended, that they're left free to govern themselves on reservation land.
Unless it's something that falls within the FBI's jurisdiction.
So yeah, unless it falls into Federal law, it's tribal law that they dictate.
the TL;DR is that Native American tribal lands are considered Sovereign States so state laws that ban Casino's don't apply to the reservations so they build mega casino's on the reservations as a way to make money. So YES Native American Casino's are very much a thing.
people in the US also sniff glue, really brings us all together huh?
Please, you NEED to check out South Park Season 4 - Episode 4: “Quintuplets”. It revolves around a set of Romanian Quintuplets that perform in the local circus. The boys just want get with the Quintuplets, shit… It’s got Gypsies and everything. lol 😂
Whoops you already did, just not in the play list. Like your reactions! Keep it up!

"And what do we do about the small town if South Park that lies in the highway's way? It's simple, we buy it & we demolish it."
Or you could just build the motorway around it.
most casinos are owned by native Americans
"everyone grab a Chinese person"
I used to work in a gambling room. Gamblers really do act like this
It's a stero type for Native American to have casinos but majority of casinos are ran by Native American, the sars blanket was a tactic that colonizers did do that to the Native American back in the expansion era as well in Mexico and southern America
Good news, I finished carving your 50k sub play button.
It'll be in the mail friday, should arrive around 2025 when you hit 50k
Nickel slots?? That's the old granny game!! At least do video poker (Deuces Wild is my favorite) where you can actually use some strategery.
You might win the $30 jackpot.
0:52 typically the best casinos are Native American like the ones in Oklahoma
We are not greedy and the tribe owns land and everything in it.
0:48 no the tribe and the governor, and depicted of the tribe.
I have no idea how exactly it works, but chicken noodle soup is basically the cloasest thing we have to Pacenea (something that could be theoretically able to cure any disease or ill-remedy) for most low-risk diseases. Combine it with some kind of citrus or something high vitamen C, and you basically are kinda cured. Worked for me most of the time!
16:10 “sars in Canada?” South Park is in Colorado.😅
I don't know how I never noticed Chief Runs-With-Premise's name before, but it's hilarious.
Nanny 911, season 10 episode 7
Yeah, "Tsst" is a good one.
most casinos in the US are owned by native americans because for a long time they were the only ones allowed to because it was illegal to gamble but they got exceptions
I am supprised this "chiefs" name wasn't running with d...cs" or somth...knowing southpark certian Teacher name ;)
Toli seen all your videos a recommendation I have for South Park is Rainforest Shmainforest
Some many young like very young kids, in the US, may or may not eat paste
For those who don’t know the whole giving smallpox blankets thing is a myth.
if you wanna watch Americans sniff glue you should watch It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia 😵💫
collateral is a precaution.
блин, мне так нравятся отсылки и упоминания на всякие российские штуки
You should watch "its always sunny in philadelphia" the humour is right up your alley
Bro they own a lot of casinos
Slurpees are awesome. HA HA HA HA.
American Indians are all tax-exempt in the USA, not sure exact requirements for that status but that's what I know for sure... I'd imagine owning a casino is pretty lucrative when you don't have to pay any taxes.
yep, south park had covid in the early 2000's
Tokens and his parents are there and have money, they couldve came up with the 300 g's

I love how Randy tells Stan to go on a N-word Journey, that's hilarious.
I have a feeling you're not going to like the episode "Elementary School Musical"
Nowadays, our greatest fear is that South Park were sold to… a native californian mouse :0
With the help of the spirit of the original little mermaid that will never became true.
Asalamakim my brother 🤣🤣
It's sad you (not American), get most of the premise/references, more than most American reactors to this episode.
Yes.....2020 was SARS 2 ......SARS 1 was around 2005. But for some reason...even though it was spreading around the world, there wwre no lockdowns and 98% of people DID survive it. And that's also how it was cured.
It was more of a war than a slaughter, if you mean how it started at least. Both sides did a lot of slaughtering, but nowadays it's painted as 'colonizers killed the peaceful Indians.' ... Sorry, Native Americans. Interesting stuff to look into.
@2:40 what you say? 🏳🌈
