Great video! I was just in Germany & was in Stuttgart for a day. I wanted to see this museum & the Mercedes museum, but I only had time to see one. I choose the Mercedes museum (which is fantastic!!!), but if I ever go back I'm checking this place out. Thanx for the vids!
Arguably the greatest circuit racer of all time (917) and the only '80's icon to rival the F40 (959) and you're complaining?! Still Porsche has such a great legacy it's not easy picking a few for a 5min vid.
As a german I laughed really hard when you said ' Zuffenhausen '...Really hard :D BTW: I've been there in may to pick up my Boxster press car for my review and its a lovely place to be :)
hahaha, thanks for the support, believe me or not this is my first top comment ever, and Im completly agree with lucarmyself this better be a 3 or 4 or 5 episode show, and then the ferrari museum special.
acctually there were two GT1s the 993 based and the 996based model that won le mans in 1998 and Porsche had to build one road-car version each in order to compete in the GT1 category and yes Im still hopping for the rest of the video
I feel like I am one of the only people that does not like the majority of what Porsche created, I am talking about what Mr. Porsche not anything now after his death. I feel that he was never to much of a creative guy sticking to one look and just evolving it. Don't get me wrong his cars performance are stunning. I am just talking aesthetics here.
How cool would it be to have Unlimited, CanAm style, racing back? Just require rollcages harnesses and helmets. Leave the rest up the the bravery of the drivers.
Porsche makes a very very nice car with a target for track and speed......Germans sure can build a lot of great cars that really do smoke the Italian exotics....I hope to see some new Porsche talent at the Festival Of Speed this year....
I am amazed that you can get so close to all these amazing cars. Definitely something for the bucket list.
Personally, not a huge Porsche fan, but I have respect for their contributions to the automotive world. Good job MT!
Well done motortrend well done. That was a very nice biography

i have seen a carrera gt in person up close. great car. sounds like a sport bike.
drooling completed
The Carrera GT's engine should be on 24/7 cause it makes one of the best engine noises in the car history.
hahaha, thanks for the support, believe me or not this is my first top comment ever, and Im completly agree with lucarmyself this better be a 3 or 4 or 5 episode show, and then the ferrari museum special.

WE NEED PART 2 AND SO ON...
NFS Porshe 2000 :D oh, memories
I'm just amazed that none of the cars are roped off and everybody is keeping a respectable distance. Something that would never work here in the US.
what is this? part 1 of 5?
Is that it? Just 5 minutes?
How cool would it be to have Unlimited, CanAm style, racing back? Just require rollcages harnesses and helmets. Leave the rest up the the bravery of the drivers.
Aweeesomeeeeeee

Porsche makes a very very nice car with a target for track and speed......Germans sure can build a lot of great cars that really do smoke the Italian exotics....I hope to see some new Porsche talent at the Festival Of Speed this year....

This needs to be at least a 45min long video
Teased
240 mph without roof!
u can"t Drive it in the rain

WE WANT MORE! GO BACK AND POINT THE CAMERA AT MORE STUFF
and audi in 80s. mmmm quattro ...beetle came from tatra t600 tatraplan
Really? 5 min? If I had a camera crew at the Porsche museum I would be hard pressed to produce a vid under 5 hours. Best be more where that came from.
This video should have 10min more....wana see more about le mans porsches.
Niceee
4:40 WTF! When it started to get interesting it ends? c'mon MT show us the rest, 930, 935, 914, 968, 944.
Why not make a 5 min story about every of these cars?
The official Porsche channel just releast a behind the scenes video about the museum:
watch?v=mnv42eE144I
Sonic ads are killing me -.- The car was like made for stupid comercials and sky-diving
That video was

"..only 1100 horsepower" lol
pucta es un aleman ""
Lol no brakes either.

To short video
Feels like an incomplete episode...

Seems like only a prelude to story...
way too short of an episode, for such a subject.........
240 mph without roof!
u can"t Drive it in the rain
