    Nicely done on the ripper and support mount. The 50g worked right through those stumps.

    Just finished my home made ripper tooth. After you posted , I have been scrounging up the steel and got it done. Next week i'll start on the stand. I may change up the materials a bit so I can use what I have, but it's your design! thanks for posting!

      Very cool. I'm currently uploading a video of the newly designed Manca ripper on our new Volvo. Stay tuned!

    When welding steel that is hanging from a chainblock add a nylon sling between hook and steel so the current cannot pass through to the chainblock

    • @VTOutdoorServices
      @VTOutdoorServices  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t think the current will pass through the trusses

      @@VTOutdoorServices Not the trusses you should be worried about its the chain and the hook. they have been hardened and annealed to take the load.

    What saw did you use to cut that plate? Sure looked like it did a good job.

    How big difference do think not having the teeth on the back of the ripper tooth would be.

      It would be worthless to me for ripping stumps. Be ok for frost though. I use the teeth all the time for roots

      @@VTOutdoorServices I guess I should have finished video before asking. 😂 I see they make the front serrated now also. Think that would be better for roots than the smooth front?
