I just bought the same open box pickguard for the same price, tortoise color. I got the Donner dst 400 for free when it arrived with a broken middle pup. They refunded me and didn't want it back. Deal of the century!😊
There are TONS of options to choose from. I’m going to point at the coil-tapped Tim Shaw HB now installed on my own partscaster as an excellent choice; it has way more brightness and articulation than the Donner’s HB and has delighted me. I believe the DiMarzio website has an online tool for choosing pickups based on style of music and various other factors. I used it years ago to choose the pickups I swapped into my low-cost Korean PRS. Good luck!

What hb pup would you recommend to fix the darkness and muddiness of the stock Donner hb, A2, 5, 8?
