    I had one for years and it was very calm and tame. I could set her on my chair behind me and she would sit there for hours.
    It was crazy and kinda sad because about a month after I got it she laid eggs!! Sadly I had no idea how to nor did I have the means at the time to try and hatch them. She then laid eggs a second time like a month after that. She would gaurd them until she got cold then would go to the lamp and go back and forth. I read that this happens with these alot because they are caught and kept in captivity together. Like 30, 40, 50 in a cage. I believe they come from Indonesia or Vietnam. One of the Asian Pacific islands

      Djuan Darby I fed mine mice from the pet store and he was doing fine.

    • @rellewilson7814
      @rellewilson7814 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Djuan Darby Better to buy from the pet store and breed them. Its easier than you think and you can ensure they are healthy

      Are you talking about frozen or live mice. Both should be safe, but I would DEFINITELY advise on frozen- it has more benefits both you and your snake. It is safer (for both snek and prson) too.

    Hey I love your videos! May I have some advice please?
    I purchased a 2 month old bearded dragon last week. He's doing fine and he's getting more comfortable with me and his new home.
    I recently read somewhere that mealworms can cause impaction. The person at the pet shop didn't mention this, nor did the big book of bearded dragon care they sold me. However, everywhere I look online, people seem adamant that it's a stupid idea to feed beardies mealworms.
    Thus far I've been giving him a few as treats to create a positive reinforcement for letting me carry him and climbing up myself. He likes them, but I'm now confused and reluctant to give him some or any.
    I was just wondering if you could do a video clearing this up please?

      Hey I'm no expert but I might be able to help...
      I have a bearded dragon and did heckin research before I purchased him. I would not advise giving a baby or juvenile mealworms- you may already know this but it can cause paralysis and even death sometimes😬. I would say ONLY FEED TO ADULTS every now and then just to be safe. P.S. I would also not advise taking a pet store employee's advice on these matters. I have absolutely nothing wrong with or against pet storepeople/their advice but I would ALWAYS do your own research no matter what anyone tells you 😁.

      @@carriewilliford1225 Hey Carrie, thanks so much for your advice, and for caring enough to answer me even after years! I'm sad to say that my beloved beardy passed away in back in 2018. She died quite young; apparently it was due to a tumour. (We discovered that he was a she four days before she passed when the herpetologist was examining her.) I still often wonder if there was more I could have done, but it's in the past now so I guess I should just let go.
