Those 2 years at Chelsea Robben used to be on the left, and Duff was on the right. The main focus was out swing crosses and if it wasn't working they would swap positions.

Kanté was an almost unbeatable midfielder, he dominated the midfield against anyone he played whether that be as a box to box or as a holding mid. Kompany being given captain tax as usual. Carvalho a much better player.
Carvalho didn't even get nominated for team of the season once. Kompany got nominated 3 times, won the football writers player of the year and had 2 iconic moments that will be shown everytime when the PL make a video.
Carbalho played alongside John Terry the entire time. Kompany was the main man throughout his entire time and was exceptional with many different center backs next to him many of which weren’t the greatest Mangala, Demichelis, Otamendi, Lescott, etc. We never saw Carvalho leading a back line.
100%. Kompany is one of the most overrated players in PL history, none of these guys consistently watched him back in the day. His perception is so far out of touch with reality.

Carvalho better than Kompany could be true but we really didn’t have the opportunity to see that. Carvalho played alongside John Terry the entire time and never was the leader of the back line. We’ve seen Kompany be exceptional no matter who was alongside him throughout the years. Even with some really mediocre partners such as Mangala, Demcichelis, Otamendi, Lescott Etc. Captaining teams to premier league titles, 100 point season, and the domestic quadruple. Really can’t see the argument for Carvalho. There’s big difference between being the leader and focal point of the team, or just being an exceptional player in a rigid defensive system alongside one of the premier leagues defensive icons

People who say Haaland is better than Aguero are just fkn clueless. Aguero was a better player in all terms and if he played in his prime or young age under this team and manager he would demolish every record and also City would be a lot more enjoyable to watch because Haaland is just a passenger for 99% of the game until he gets a good pass in the box. And also when City needed something from a player in a big game it was usually Aguero that delivered, Haaland is yet to have a single moment like that. Can Haaland be better sure, is he right now no.
