Great to see such a humble champion taking advice from his coach although he is considered an experienced player after 15 years of competitive play. Humility is the true mark of a champion, not ego
What i can see dato lee chong wei training is he very humble and very respectful for team n all coach. More discipline..thts why dato lee chong wei got number 1 badmnton in the world..
What makes him a champion is his willingness to listen advice from other experienced players and his coach. It's not ego that makes champions be champions. What makes these top players the way they are is their amplitude of their tool kit of abilities and play styles. Wei is simply an exceptional dedicated player.
He's not a champion for god's sake. I respect LCW's as a player but he is by no means a champion. He never wins a world championship and an olympic gold.
@@pizzaboy6877 you never play sports. A champion doesn't necessarily must win everything, what a champion is the attitude. Winning titles only called winners. Chong wei holds the longest no 1 in the world record. That is true champion.
@@MegaKhairul96 the hell are you talking about? Competitive sports measure one's success by looking at his ACCOLADES/RESUME. You think LCW is a true champion just because he held the longest no 1 while Lin Dan, who achieves a DOUBLE GRAND SLAM, is not? Let me remind you something. LCW could be the longest no 1 player because Lin Dan didn't bother playing every tournament out there. Badminton is one of the few sports where the no 2 always beat the no 1 (so ironic lol). I don't care for how long LCW stayed as the world's no 1. He's never won any major titles (getting to the world champ finals 6 times, olympic 3 times, asian games 4 times). Losing is not a champion. He's a warrior I get that, but a champion? No he's not and he never will be
@@pizzaboy6877 that's why i said u don't know sports. Consistency is the key to become a legend. He keeps winning tournaments back to back and it's just not his luck to win the Olympic. Every champion has wins and losses. And Chong Wei win-to-loss ratio is slightly higher than lin dan. According to your stupid logic, Giroud is better than Messi and CR combined because he won the world cup. Lmao, idiot.
Bruhhhh... That is misbun sidek! the legendary himself , he is coaching LCW since early day to become what he is today... Misbun is legend during 80s in Olympic game
