Hopefully but I'm doubtful. I ran a 6s 70mm (not a real powerful one but still a 6s- powerfun 70mm 6s setup) and it really didn't help. I run that powerfun 6s in my Vampire and it screams.... i went back to a 4s and it was just ok. I would assume the airframe is just draggy. If i ran a more powerful edf like a fms or a freewing unit, the amp draw would require a bigger battery. That may do it but you'd have to carve out the foam for the bigger battery. We'll see when reviews come out (won't be me)
Perhaps! The plane is still overall light so if the 80 can fit, maybe the power will offset the weight.... hmm. I have a powerfun 4s setup I'll try next. If I'm not happy with that, I'll shave out the mount and try an 80.
Interesting plane for sure. LX Models sure does produce some different models.. Great flying that bird. Thanks, Will
Awesome plane! Definitely a head Turner, I wish we could get an fms/eflite or a motion F-117. Been really liking your channel lately
Totally agree. Or if LX gets their act together and starts building quality. Freewing and XFly seemed to have stepped up
Stealth mission ! 👍🏻👍🏻
We talked a while back and you convinced me that this plane flies good which helped me decide to try it out. Thanks!
@@all_rc nice ! Looks super cool 😎 in the Air very unique
I wonder if the shape of the exhaust nozzles inhibited much of the extra performance from the 6S?
I was thinking that. And the intake and exhaust are both oversized for the size of the fan. That plus the shape of the exhaust can't be too efficient!
The newest 70mm version is from Shy Flight. Supposed to have a metal 12b fan 80A ESC. Do u know about it ?
I assume you meant sky flight? I have not seen that yet
Yes… on Banana Hobby’s website. Curious if their “new” EDF gives it the power it needed

Seeing that the F-117 is the most unstable plane in the world and requires a computer to help make adjustments while flying…
Sometimes those smc hv lipos dont work on some escs. Even though your using a 6s lipo the esc will only see 4 or 5s
Haven't seen that yet. Esc beeped 6 times on this one
Hear me out 6s 80mm edf?
