I've grown up listening to these dudes. From a young kid listening to King of the Rodeo on repeat, through every album and every life experience to now. KoL are part of the soundtrack of my life for the past 20 years. Thanks for being here.
As a drummer, I'm loving Nathan's touch on this album so far. His playing is so much more nuanced and dynamically varied than it used to be. The dude's pocket just keeps getting deeper. As for the song, I'm reminded more and more of Aha Shake - Because of the Times era Kings every time I hear it. The long pauses between chords in the pre-chorus, the constant energy, it just brings me back to the days when the Kings wrote for themselves and not the radio. They just said in an interview with Zane Lowe that that's what they've done for this album - write it the way they want, radio play isn't a factor. Really excited for that first listen.

This album has some of the best choruses and instrumentation that sticks with you. Like Caleb’s voice is such a vibe during the choruses. And the instrumentation is so much more unique this album round.
Reminiscent of U2’s “With or Without You” video treatment in the beginning then opens up into an energetic spirited performance video. The song is incredible and shows the power of this band. So glad they are back!

Memories of Aha Shake Heart break tour in 2004. My first year in uni and saw them 3 times in one week good times. Got a black eye from the mosh pit during four kicks at wolverhampton gig 😂.
Have to admit, I was not a fan when they first came out. But after finding a bunch of their albums cheap in a charity shop, I listened to them and got into them. Liking this new song and will be looking out for their new album 😄
