Desde entonces la he estado escuchando últimamente pero con esa madurez y valorando ese momento tan radical de mi existencia como mamá, hija, hermana y esposa ❤
SPOILER: video explanation ok, so the videos kind of work backwards and forwards at the same time. so the cheerleaders stumble upon this martian ball doohickey thing and receive uncontrollable powers... which end up causing freaky things to happen (car crashes, entire school disappearance, towksfolk dropping to their knees), eventually you figure out that their plan is to sabotage the entire human race via satellite and telecommunication devices. The older man is actually Caleb going back in time (the handheld device is his makeshift sonic screwdriver) to try to warn his younger self of everyone's pending doom and to stop the cheerleaders from discovering the sparkly martian ball in the first place. The story sort of follows the two cops trying to figure out the mystery we see unfold before our eyes. I also think the older snippits of the band throughout represent their youthful past, hiatus, and how they've grown over time. WALLS is a totally different album, focusing on the band's journey over time and the people around them that have made them who they are today. We Are Like Love Songs- it's about a different kind of love! :-)
Great :D And maybe their main point is to listen to the music through the radio and not watching it on TV, cause bad music has success from the videos :P
I love you comment and explanation, not to mention that I've enriched my vocabulary with a few cool words, but I also think that such approach simplifies matters embedded in the film.

Tommy Wilson glad. I love it too. People stuck in the past need to realize Kol won't make music like their first 2 albums. They were great and still are great but they have matured and part of it has to do with having kids now but they aren't the same as they were when Caleb was on drugs. They are still a very good band with raw talent and I loved this album a lot.
It was super hard to understand the meaning of the trilogy without reading the explanatory comments below, but maybe it's just me. Anyways, gotta watch them again now I know what's going on there :) As for the music - I love evolved, mature KOL! Their music is reflecting growth and still warms my heart at the gloomiest of days. Thanks, guys!
I believe the old man is Caleb from the future, his little stick can reset the progress he's made to rid the town of the cheerleaders who are being supernaturally affected by the moon sphere thingy. KOL knows that the man responsible is Caleb from the future, letting himself know about the danger and to destroy the TV's because the cheerleader was supernaturally tapping into the TV signals, but not the radio signals. KOL emits their music from the truck which is an antidote to offset the supernatural spell, incompasitating the cheerleaders and setting things back to normal, and the future Caleb leaves with his little light stick and the world is back to normal.
@@christyarthur9148 Pyro is about not belonging. The story was originally written about a team of FBI agents that flushed out and burned an entire community of radical Christians. That's what inspired Caleb to write some of the lines in the song. So you see at the end of the video everyone who seemed like they didn't belong because the were too innocent or to kind being taken up to the heavens. The care taker woman, the innocent virgin looking woman, and more notable the guy going into the bar that just looked out of place. It was a little bit of a work around to the story in which the song was written about, these people, unlike the Christians, didn't post any threat to anyone but they were taken none the less. They did not deserve the punishment they were going through.
Oh¡ te lo agradezco, la verdad es que les perdí la pista estos ultimos dos discos, es un alivio que aún manteniendo su sonido caractertistico, este material se sienta fresco.
This video has no plot. KOL explained it in an interview "It was always more about mood and themes, I guess. Dimitri [Basil], the director, has a strong style - [he’s] a fan of French new wave, I think, among other things - but plot wasn’t really first priority. We eventually came around to some buried themes around the world being in danger of losing things of substance, the TV weaponizing the message, and two versions of the future: one with TVs and the death of culture and another with a return radio culture and the things that matter. That’s when the future came in and time travel, et cetera"
Here's my interpretation. Cheerleaders POV in chronological order: In 'Reverend' they find comet/alien orb that crashes to Earth it gives them powers they can't control and it starts to control them. In 'Waste A Moment' cheerleader gets warning from Orb in her dreams about the Bounty hunter. In the dream the Orb is the eye ball and the octopus are the cheerleaders (it's arms) the bounty hunter is the T-rex and the eyeball and octopus getting set on fire is them being destroyed. She kills the two cops in the beginning out of fear of one being the bounty hunter. They go to Caleb's house who she has a questionable relationship with. The bounty hunter appears she sees and warns Caleb who is blindfolded because he has no clue what is going on. From the lyrics of the song maybe she told him he's an ex. Caleb confronts him and from there things get fuzzy. From Brunette cheerleader reaction I think the red head cheerleader was killed. We see the red head slumped against the wall eyes close with toy car being simulated to come out of her, which is juxtapose with the bounty hunter in car which i took to mean him escaping with two band members who are not Caleb. The lead cheerleader goes after them and crashes their car along with causing mayhem. She is looking for Caleb or the bounty hunter but he already dipped and Nathan not Caleb crawls out of the wreckage. In 'Reverend' we discovered although she has been taken over her feelings remained and she felt what Caleb did (warning people on radio) as betrayal. In the shower scene she kills him and the band but she looks upset about it. In "Waste A Moment' it seems like one band member survives but the cheerleader kills him during the night we see her sitting on the abandoned car. After that she scouts the police during their investigation. In 'Find Me' she carries out her mission which was to use TV transmitters to kill a whole bunch of people. But she is killed before completing it. Caleb's POV in chronological order: In 'Waste A Moment' he fights the bounty hunter in order to protect the cheerleader he has a questionable relationship with. The bounty hunter takes out his sonic screw driver and somehow shows him the truth. In 'Reverend' he and his band mates warn the town through the radio and in their van through speakers. Which is why in 'Find Me' people start wearing blindfolds and try to burn TVs. The lead cheerleader discovers this and kills him. They all disappear with the exception of one who is killed later that night. In 'Find Me' he is being mourned. Cops POV: In 'Reverend' after the meteorite crashes the two main cops go to investigate and discover the three scientist dead. In 'Waste A Moment' the last band member disappears at night with all the lights in the house and it's probably seen by neighbors. Also coupled with their warning through the radio they investigate. Two other cops show up the next day they try to recreate the scene but they it got wrong, there were three girls not two and the cheerleader saw the bounty hunter outside the window. The cheerleaders keep causing people to disappear and people (especially fans) start to take KOL's warnings serious so at their memorial in 'Find Me' they start to blindfold themselves and burn their TVs. the main cop ties them all together with having originating from meteor crash. But he blames the bounty hunter for it. In 'Reverend' he attempts to discover the meteorite but during that the head cheerleader starts killing people on mass. The Bounty Hunter: He seems like he is a time traveler which is how he knew about the danger. He show's up in 'Waste A Moment' to confront the cheerleaders. Caleb attempts stop but he tries to warn him of the big threat she is and uses his device to show him the truth. Things get fuzzy here but I believe he kills a cheerleader and escapes with two band members as a distraction while Caleb went out on his own unseen. Lead cheerleader wrecks his car but he manages to flee. In 'Find Me' he goes to the memorial feeling responsible for their deaths. By accident he is named a lead suspect when his photo is taken. In 'Reverend' he finds the Orb and destroys it which kills the lead cheerleader.
