My sons father passed away in 2019. We used to listen to every single KOL song together... I’ve gotten to where I can’t even listen to my favorite band anymore. I’m so happy they’re coming out with new music that I’ll be able to listen to without painful nostalgia! 🥺 Rest In peace, Tony.

After a really tough divorce, my boxer dog and I went on long road trips, boating on Lake Mead, and hiking through Red Rock mountains together several times a month, or whenever we could get away. KOL was my favorite mood music on the road, trails, and water. Freedom and redemption are so well expressed in their sound and lyrics and it moved me through some really tough times. My Giancarlo passed last year, but our final tribute included a medley of KOL favorites. I remember the sounds, sights, and smells of every adventure. I remember us taking in the sunrises, sunsets, and just staring up at the moon and stars. Those memories are all triggered by KOL songs. RIP little man and thanks for the memories.

They have 100s of millions of TH-cam views for their videos and only a very, very few alternative rock bands can make this claim. When I think of underrated when it comes to rock bands with a mix of multiple genres that make them alternative rock, alternative metal etc I think of the Dutch band called The Gathering, especially when Anneke Van Giersbergen was their vocalist from 1994 to 2006. That band just didn't catch on in the USA but was very big in most of Europe and had a large following in South America, especially in Chile. The Gathering is the definition of underrated. Kings of Leon is the definition of a great all around alternative rock band in the same category as U2.
Caleb and Adelle duet? In my opinion, Nashville is a relaxing place to live but doesn't deserve KOL in terms of the music scene. I believe that the pop--rock-country culture there has only held them back in recent years. However, it sounds like KOLhas persevered even in 2020 and found a great creative balance. Love these special new songs! They don't need to be an obscure indy punk band like the UK hyper-critical press STILL wants them to be. They have already done that and we always have those early songs to cherish. I rather focus on the present and hope for the future.

I loved KOL since I was in High School. I love how their music takes me away every time I hear it. It’s otherworldly, and a dreamscape for me. I feel hopeful when I close my eyes and listen. This is by far my favourite album. It makes me feel reminiscent of things that haven’t happened yet. My wife and I are having a baby girl. She is our first. I am so happy to have been blessed with both of my girls. My wife and I have been together for 3 years but it feels like I knew her for a life time. We thought that we could never conceive. Each time we tried , we failed. I felt the pull between us each time we failed. Each time we gained a little hope it made it so much harder for us. We almost gave up hope. Until, we one day we received a call. The voice on the other line told us we are going to be parents. Hearing this album for the first time, and closing my eyes while listening I am taken away. I am reminded that their is always hope. I am taken away to a dream where I can see myself happy. I can’t wait to meet my baby girl and show her the world and how beautiful it is to be a part of it. I am definitely going to take her on drive and put this album on and remind her that she will always be our miracle. That their is always good out there. Thank you KOL.

This has a little bit of a U2 vibe in this song. They sound like they have heavy influences from many of the great bands from the 60s, 70s and 80s, and 90s. Rock was real in those decades. The 2010s was a bunch of overproduction of electronic dance mixes with many genres including rock. Hell even metal bands have this EDM Electronica mix. Hate that shit.

The Kings of Leon sound I remember long ago is back! Even though its new, it has that 2000's indie rock vibe I loved coming out of high school. Incredible track.

Their music is what keeps me going and helps me push through every hard day i have. Now with how the world is you have no idea how unbelievably happy and excited i am to have new music from you guys. As soon as the drum line started I fist pumped with a “oh fuck yeah” This is like their core sound, with lyrics just vague and whimsical enough to project whatever it is you’re feeling.

Its heavy layering with beats that make me feel so calm because my brain just follows them like a heart beat. This band would make great loop pedal covers. My favorite song by them is Knocked Up.
This Kings of Leon record was the right album at the right time. I will forever associate it (specifically the videos for this song, "100,000 People," and "Stormy Weather") with snowy work from home days as we were starting to see life get back to normal as (hopefully) the worst of the pandemic was behind us. I remember I bought the album on CD the first time I was back in a non-grocery store just for old times sake.
"if it ain't broke, don't fix it." this album is on par with anything so far. kind of glad they're not trying to take some experimental road like "techno bluegrass" haha probably why they've been so solid for so long. they don't abandon their sound but depend on quality songwriting

My favorite band since 2009, with this i remember the first time i heard them, my brother bought their cd and put it on the car, it was use somebody the first song i heard and the fact that Kings of Leon always have the same vibe, style, i dont know what exactly, but is the band that hold all my memories, because each album is a different stage in my life. I love KOL because they never disappoint, they know they are a rock band and they just to their job... Doing very nice and GOOD rock songs. It's true, they have evolved their sound but just like the wine, each time gets better.

Their music is what keeps me going and helps me push through every hard day i have. Now with how the world is you have no idea how unbelievably happy and excited i am to have new music from you guys. This Kings of Leon record was the right album at the right time.
I will forever associate it (specifically the videos for this song, "100,000 People," and "Stormy Weather") with snowy work from home days as we were starting to see life get back to normal as (hopefully) the worst of the pandemic was behind us.
I remember I bought the album on CD the first time I was back in a non-grocery store just for old times sake.

"if it ain't broke, don't fix it." this album is on par with anything so far. kind of glad they're not trying to take some experimental road like "techno bluegrass" haha probably why they've been so solid for so long. they don't abandon their sound but depend on quality songwriting

My favorite band since 2009, with this i remember the first time i heard them, my brother bought their cd and put it on the car, it was use somebody the first song i heard and the fact that Kings of Leon always have the same vibe, style, i dont know what exactly, but is the band that hold all my memories, because each album is a different stage in my life. Thankiu kol for that, definitely unique.

I love KOL because they never disappoint, they know they are a rock band and they just to their job... Doing very nice and GOOD rock songs. It's true, they have evolved their sound but just like the wine, each time gets better.
