how would they work collaboratively making the logo for the class?? Which program lets them work together? My students only have iPads. They can not share physical materials.
Hi Lisa! Students can collaborate using most Google Apps. I like having students use Google Slides. Slides allows more than one person to be working at the same time and they can use the comment tool to leave suggestions and feedback for each other. They can use the shapes, lines, and text tools to create a logo. They can also incorporate images from the internet. When they are finished, just highlight all the parts of the image and save as a JPEG or PNG. You could have also students use Google Slides to create a class flag and have them fill the whole slide.

I love your ideas. Our first 9 weeks are remote learning. However, the first 3 weeks are not live lessons, but instead pre-recorded. Do you have any suggestions for pre-recorded lessons then I am still able to do the things you stated in the video. I might do them by recording myself to TH-cam and have them post videos and photos on Class Dojo Portfolios

You can control the settings to determine whether the responses just go to you or if students can see and interact with responses.
