Ty for the useful info. i can so relate when you mention exhausting airbnb hopping. Hope you find a nice spot to stay longer.

Yes! What a pain! There are ways around it for sure.

I‘ve been in Bangkok every year for max. 3 weeks, only stayed in (different) condos near BTS Thong Lor and luckily never had a problem. Our host always told us about the airbnb-rules in Thailand✨

Yeah they usually make guests aware of it.

You can find better Hotels incl. Breakfast than Airbnb.... Cleaner, cheaper, better service etc.

Yes and no. And it depends. Stayed in a hotel in Pattaya, Thailand and it was complete shit and they robbed me of my deposit because I didn't hand over the key, instead placed it in the key drop

I ended up finding one near BTS Phrom Phong through some Facebook groups. There are a lot on there. You can find some for 6 months. Also, contacting an agent is a good way to go.

Can you get in trouble for short term stay as a tourist?

Technically, not allowed to rent to tourists. But home owners will inform you to not say you're staying at Airbnb

Do I need another person to book an Airbnb In Bangkok or I can do it by myself

      I’m coming solo in Bangkok

You can do it yourself. If you're booking for a month+, no problem. If less than that, I am sure your host will inform you about the laws.

Its cheaper if you stay longer like 3 to 6 months. I would message them and ask

Yes, that is true. But, most apartment landlords/owners won't do 3 months, only a select few. I've found 6 months, but even that is limited. It is all because of there being too much supply and not enough demand

don't focus the camera on yourself when showing the apartment
