Putting a shelf right above the toilet will make it very hard to access the tank if repairs are needed to the plumbing. Make sure there is room to work if needed.

This reminds me of the episode of "Will&Grace" where Grace wants to remodel the small bathroom they share. Will brings home shelves from Bed Bath& Beyond and Grace says, "of course, because when you need to create space, you fill the walls with shelves so that the walls start closing in on you!" 🤣

I love a couple of your ideas, I'm going to implement them and remove my ugly cumbersome cupboard and put 3 different sized baskets but I'm also going to make 3 different sized shadow type box shapes and put hinged etched glass frame on front to close with a clasp 😊

Redundancy department here! Shelves have been around since the dark ages! So using the baskets which are from ancient times and shelves which have been around since walls!

@@blondego56 I also have a tiny shower room, but some of these ideas are really useful. I already have a shelf unit over the toilet and a shelf above the door with plastic boxes to hold cleaning materials and toilet rolls. Using wall space where floor space is very limited is the best solution.

My bathroom is so small that if you drop the soap in the walk in shower you have to get out of the shower to pick it up. And we’re still trying to figure out where to put a toilet paper holder?🤣
If the door to your bathroom opens inward consider a Japanese sliding shogee door. Works to open up a small spaces.
