Just fyi, it was the Synthocep Melee damage buff (3x) applying to Howl Crystals that got fixed. Despite that Howl is still a great option because of the consistency it provides. Its easier to land the 5 crystals for full damage than it is to land 6.

Yeah the crystal interaction did get nerfed, it used to triple the damage of the super while now you just get the same 50% bonus as all other supers. Behemoth is actually just that cracked.
I like this super solely for the tanky bosses in dungeons. I won't run it for a raid encounter just cus first the stigma to Stasis and second you will find yourself getting in the way of your allies

Star eaters and silk strike is pretty good or change that to arc striders throwing staff and add on the new arc mods for this season star eaters is a pretty good all rounder to increase hunter dmg.
I got 1.355m with burning maul spin attack + tractor and synthos on ogre. Heavy attack only with tractor + synthos got me 1.293m. Subclass is better and its more consistent than behemoth super.
I'm starting to lean more on burst dmg weapons like Grand Overture or Parasite and roaming super for the rest of the dmg phase. It's good enough with all the new buffs though maybe not the best and is better for survivability. Add jolted, unravel or volitle and even better still
The thing about this super is that it's good in some cases, like the grasp ogre, or other bosses that are on the ground. However for bosses like Templar, Taniks, even Rhulk with his mobility are a bit difficult to deal the full damage, tho it will still deal a ton of damage which it is well deserved as stasis titan are the worst in general out of the three. Only wish stasis titan were good in PvP.
Templar detonates the crystals and even if it doesn't bc of the negation ritual you can fire a witherhoard or rocket shot to take them all out yourself
You got a point about weapon synergy but who cares if you can pump out that much in a super, at least for me, plus you still add on weapon damage to the super damage and you'll be around the top every time
In the time you burn your Glacial Quake you still have enough time to mag dump Fourth Horseman and most of your Hothead shots. Even if its not against a giant boss like this one you can use Howl mid super to make it viable against smaller bosses at the cost of a slightly longer super duration due to it using light attacks instead of heavy attacks. Regardless still in most cases thats enough to give you the same or more damage than a burst super plus weapons. And god forbid you run solo you can use Tractor and do leagues more damage than you could with any other subclass with all the benefits of the neutral Behemoth kit.

The slide up melee is easier to hit and can result in higher damage. I used to use it a lot more often on dungeon bosses, and it feels more consistent than the heavy slam. The drawback is that it takes more time
DO NOT use these for damage please you will consistently have the lowest damage in your raid or dungeon group. It’s high damage, but it takes about 10 years to deal. Just use a single use super & weapons

Glacial nade is your versatile tool, since it can provide cover/health/Shields/damage/resistance. It can also freeze barrier champs through their shields. Glacial Quake should be used offensively and/or defensively to place down cover to recover a fallen ally or reach an unreachable objective. Melee should be used as a movement tool to reposition on-demand. Be wary of freezing suspended targets, only ever do so if allies don't have CC available.
H9gh3st damage? Yes. But it takes like 8 times as long to output that damage compared to burst supers where you can immidiatly switch to weapon damage. Supers are only good for damaging bosses in quick bursts or when youre out of heavy, which you never should be out of heavy with scouts and finishers so youre literally hurting yourself by using a roaming super as a boss damage option.
Not good for raids since you'd be hindering the rest of the team Good for like... 2 or 3 bosses depending on hyper specific circumstances. Highest damage super? Maybe, but consistently viable? Fuck no.
I wouldn't say that. Its good against single-target bosses who don't fly or move around much, making it usable for a handful of bosses. That, coupled with the wildly inconsistant damage numbers and that teammates are a thing AND elemental shards no longer exists has made stasis mid. At least for titans anyway.
@@SSD_Penumbra I just know how to consistently play the class since I pretty much never take it off. The class is nuts dude. Behemoth is 100% my main flavor and has been for almost 2 years. I put on duskfield grenades for GMs but other than that, I’m running glacier grenades. The best way I can say it is that the class has a steep learning curve that pays off once you understand the kit.

I’ve been saying this, people have the audacity to say any super can compete. I’ve wiped out hordes of champions that were dumb enough to rush me together. The super is a nuke.

Salvations Grip is super fun now. The dmg you can do is pretty large. I just wish the crystal's didn't send some enemies flying

Was using Celestial Nighthawk with kinetic mods but people kick when they see the hawk lol
Celestial is the highest dps no question. One bullet doing around 500k damage without buffs in ~1.5s including the entire super animation

Same. I used Lancecap last season to get Conqueror. It does indeed slap, but requires some work to put in, something not many people want to do.
