I've been practicing Silat and Escrima since 1993 and Taiji, Bagua and Xingyi since 2008. I like practicing slow twisting and circling steps with blades. It nourishes my brain and I circulate my chi to stay healthy and massage my internal organs to stay soft and limber.
The first thing I would teach someone is how to relax and root and circulate Qi. After relaxing, someone can learn basic Gong Fu!

Hey guys - I'm in the process of shooting a really in-depth video series on Chinese medicine for beginners. I hope this helps give some "outsiders" another perspective of what Chinese medicine is.
And woops, I meant to say, maybe you have a friend going to acupuncture WITH their invitro, for infertility. Oh well.

It would be great if you did a video on the top TCM schools in the country or what steps to take to become a TCM Dr... what prerequisites are needed prior to starting a TCM program?

I've been having acupuncture for a year now. I'm noticing that when its a really good treatment with my eyes closed I begin to see bright yellows and pinks, with what looks like a little black dot that floats around as I move my closed eyes. A feeling of complete peace comes over me. My doctor explains it as my body is recognizing the acupuncture which is a good thing. Might you have additional comments to help explain what's happening? Thank you
