    @Amd detailing Isn't that bad for the window/glass to develop so much heat like that? Won't the inner layer PVB warp? I've never seen all this heat buildup before. Maybe using a random orbital would've been better? Well regardless, finished product looks great

      Agree, too much heat generated. He's lucky the glass didn't crack

    • @CroIntr00X

      @@DetailingJourney its intended to use with heat that's why he's able to remove scratches, if you're using cerium oxide as compound then you should read instructions one of which is heat glas and cool it down or stop betweeen passes, glass won't crack that easily you heat it up gradually in other words pay attention to what you're doing...

    • @chlama
      @chlama 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Man, I think this much heat will warp the glass or you get distortions. Maybe ok for the back window, but I will never do it on the windshield. But as he said in the video. His car - his rules.

    • @Amddetailing
      @Amddetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      that is why it has been shown that glass cannot be broken just like that during polishing, and in order to remove major damage, the glass must be well heated and cooled in time in order to have an effect.

    • @CroIntr00X
      @CroIntr00X 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@chlama wrong, nothing less warp or distotions than from normal usage (sun hits windshield during summer). after years you get some warpage. So eyes during driving doesn't focus so close on glass itself rather in distance in comparsion if you have bad scratch on windshield eyes will focus on that from time to time and that thing bothers much...so balance what's best for you having clean glass or scratch

    So using the rotary is the key to this ? I tried with a DA and didn’t get the best results. A lot of pressure as well ?

      Staklo je veoma zahtjevno za polirati moras dobro ga ugrijati i znati kad ga treba ohladiti a da ne pukne pritisak na masini mora biti nekih 10/15 kila ,rotaciona masina obavezno posebna pasta i poseban filc za poliranje stakla ide.
      Jeftinije je no u zamjensku staviti nego polirati iskreno
