So apparently the bandaged arm swaps out on the right arm, not left (although it's really just the forearm that gives it away). Also, I guess technically raph is the one with the more scars on the chest and the grimace. Although I dont mind rolling with an evil smile Raph. Thanks for letting me know peeps!

You can tell which turtle they are based off of the heads. If you take off the head sculpt of each of them, there should be a letter in the inner side of the head to signify which turtle it is.
I think Raph is on the left because of all the scrapes and cuff marks on his chest/front plate of shell
Actually you can look at the back of the box to figure it out

@@267BR If you pop off the turtles' head, you can see the initials. The scratched up body does belong to Raph.
Regarding who is who, if you pop the heads off each turtle has their first initial embossed on the inside. Mikey is the one with the most teeth showing.

I really appreciate the in-depth reviews you give, love seeing all angles of the figures and the box art. Not to mention the links for these in the previous videos! These are absolutely ridiculously tempting. When I started collecting TMNT I told myself it wasn't going to get out of hand and I find that it's rapidly getting out of hand..

I'm pretty sure you have Mikey and Raph confused, Mikey was more apt to smile in the Mirage books, and the Raph figure has way more shell scarring. I wonder if the cowl would fit easier on the actual Raph figure?

from left to right it's leo, raph, mike and don. Their mouths are all different, and leo obviously has the cross strap for holding his swords

How does one get these?
There was an old comic book cover, where Michelangelo was in the background, and he was squatting down, holding his nunchucks, and you seen his black silhouette, and the outline of his smile. And it was this same type of evil looking smile that he uses just like in the 2000 series. His smile looked a little evil sometimes. Plus, Raphael is the one who has the menacing face, which makes sense because he has the most scarring and battle damage on him out of all the turtles.
Which issue does the cover you are talking about appear on?
These designs remind me so much of the 2003 TMNT (I think they may have had those designs from that show based on these Jim Lawson designs?), I feel like NECA should do an accessory pack with alternate heads with the different colored bandannas as a reference to that series since I doubt NECA or another company is going to make any merch based on that era of the Turtles (which is really unfortunate)
Man if neca was to do a 2003 turtles figures and characters from that series. I would buy it instantly!

I found if you pop the heads off, the letter of their name is engraved on the inside of the head. The smile one is Mike.

they could have given more uniqueness. Like all the bandanas are going over the same shoulder. Raph could be a little bigger than the others. The shells could be more unique.

I had to call in some lending favors but I was able to grab these and april at target. my only real gripe is the same gripe I have with most figures, if the figure uses melee weapons then they need to have the vertical wrist hinge.
My Target apparently has 2 in their warehouse unpacked, but they were told they can't sell them until the 25th. I hope that's true and I don't go there on the 25th and find out they sold them well beforehand. Of course, I'm going to continue going to this Target every few days just in case they do put it out early.
When will they put this up for pre order? Is it exclusive to a store or what?
My issue with them ( at least from what ive seen in videos) is that the paint looks neon green. The prototypes had an incredible dark green that made seem more adult.
Can you comment on that if it is the lights ?
They do look a little too bright.
I got a set of these figures the other day at Target. I found just one on the shelf and I knew I wanted to have this set. I've been collecting the NECA TMNT releases and I thought it would be nice to have a set of the turtles that represented their appearance in the original Mirage comics. I thought of displaying these figures with the Mirage Splinter that recently got released. I wish I hadn't missed out on the Ultimate Foot Ninja figures I found alongside this set.
Are the scratches sculpted on the body or is it painted?
I found one today. There were about 5 people looking at it. Kept putting it back on the shelf due to the price. Once they all had their share of molesting the box, i went for dirty seconds and just grabbed it. Felt like a rockstar walking back to the register while they all watched me pay for it. lol had to take my pocketknife out as I walked back to my truck just in case they rushed me in the parking lot. lol anyways, i feel like i just purchased a set of predators cause they all look the fkn same.

I believe the backdrop is taken from issue #21 of the original Mirage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle run where the turtles defeat Shredder and burn his body on a floating funeral pyre. Awesome review!👍 I’m hoping to find this set myself.

Why can I get a SooSoo toys Gambit figure 400 pieces worldwide from deep China with no damn issue but a neca turtle set nada bumpkiss unless paying a scalper. Juat let me enjoy the hobby without dealing woth employees of retailers and full time hunter resalers takimg my money and alot of it. Neca shadow dropping shit has to stop as well.
