When you said Casey was your least favorite, I was shocked and scared. Now I see that was more of a personal choice, so I'm still excited to get him. The Utrom looks incredible and I'm glad I got 3 to army build and potentially recreate the break room scene. I also had no interest in Renet, but in hand she actually looks pretty good so I may reconsider later down the road.
I think it's wishful thinking at this point that Dave Sim would license a Cerebus figure. Issue 8 is no longer in the IDW TMNT reprints, I'm not even sure that Sim's issue of Spawn (#10) is reprinted nowadays. A shame as like you say, it'd go perfect with Renet.
This one's red though. I know of the blue version being that weird walmart exclusive release...but they should _always_ make the standard/iconic version the non-exclusive.
Thought I was over Turtles. Playmates just couldn't satisfy it, but these Neca figures that have been going all over the place with the media really is a trap. I look at those Utoms and think I really hope they do the 2002 TMNT series and we get the Utrom retooled into the Utrom Shredder. Playmates was always wrong for not doing that figure (Im talking about either a 2002 Shredder with a cavity for the Utrom with a cap to cover the abdomen or one of his upgraded bodies. Playmates has such opportunity with that character) btw did you call Renet Red X 🤣🤣🤣🤣?
Krang is based off the utroms, but was never In the mirage series. Later iterations merged the two. But yes for the 80s cartoon, he was just the evil brain from dimension x.
@@ToyShiz Thanks for clarity on that. I'm just familiar with 87 cartoon storyline but the L&E TMNT storyline is amazing. I'm discovering so many characters from that line that I've never heard of. Now I know where many of the fighters from the Tournament games come from.
As a major fan of Ninja Turtles since '87, I had no idea who Renet was until recently. Should be getting my Casey & Utrom this week from Big Bad, but when I saw Renet at Target I couldn't pass it up. I'm all about the anthropomorphic/creature/robot characters from the world, but apparently Renet is a pretty big deal. Glad I didn't pass them up. I sure hope NECA makes a standard Mirage Shredder, cause they sure never made KO's of that Foot 4-pack. Just wish they'd re-release all those original Mirage versions...since NECA's never had a problem with reissue after reissue.

Really regret not picking up all the previous ones; and apparently just like you I only have one original Turtle (with the rest being KO's). I went with Raph instead of Mikey like you have. Only cause I couldn't get used to them all having red bandanas, so thus Raphael was the only one that made sense to me.
