I just ordered a custom iron set for my first Mizuno purchase! Previously played the Ping G5 irons for 11 years. Ordered the JPX900 Forged 5-PW and was told 3 weeks. I am just north of Toronto, Ontario Canada. I was born in Scotland, in Glasgow, and moved to Canada when I was 5. So, not only am I excited for my first set from Mizuno, I am an extremely proud Scot for how tight the process is in assembling these irons. Go Scotland! Go Mizuno!
@F Bennie I'm not Scottish, but I am in Toronto and also just gaga about Mizuno irons (really, nothing feels like a Mizuno). Played the MP32s, am now on a set of MP4s (which will need replacing soon as I am wearing the grooves on the PW, 9i, 8i and 7i out). Love the MP4s. Go MIzuno! Go Toronto!!
I received my Mp20s HMB one week today and they were absolutely stunning. My thanks goes too all the workforce who made my irons in Scotland. Excellent work, Thank you all👍👍👏👏👏
Mizuno is simply the highest quality iron and wedge out there. Love my MP-54s and MP-T5 wedges. Its a shame they don't push their product more at the retail level over here in the US. Always do my best to point anyone towards them.
Ordered my custom fit set of JPX 900 Forged irons (5-GW) in March 2017 in the PGA superstore in NJ. Clubs were built and arrived back in the store within 5 days. Amazing turn around. Quality is 2nd to none awesome 👏!
I'm a senior golfer with an eight handicap ,, in all my years I honestly must say that the best thing I ever did for my golf was being fitted by a professional club fitter for a set of irons. I'm a huge Mizuno fan, the company has a wonderful reputation, my choice of iron was the JPX 900 Hot Metal. We fitted them with a stiff Mamiya " Recoil " shaft ,, just a great set of irons. By the way, for the first time ever I played a Mizuno golf ball yesterday, I had ordered the Tour ball but they shipped the Mizuno MP-x- by mistake. I played eighteen holes at my club yesterday with the MP ball ,,, that ball performed way above my expectations, great distance and feel, a definite five star. The Tour balls were reordered ,,, can't wait ,, well done Mizuno.
Tour level fitting performance. Only Titleist comes close but Mizuno custom fit remains the platinum standard. Mizuno remains best iron manufacturer of all time. I will never play another brand.
My fitted MP18 MB/SC-set come from you. 3years ago and before i played the MP32. I'm happy like the 1 day. Thank you for your work😘 You make golfers happy👍😎
I was introduced to Mizuno with my first set of MX-20 irons, the best irons I had ever played. Later on I purchased a set of MP-32 blades, my favorite set. Getting up in years with much of my strength gone, my son gave me one of the greatest Christmas presents ever - JPX 900 Hot Metal irons. Suddenly I am back to hitting a 7-iron 150 yards. Mizuno irons are pure magic in my opinion. And my wish is that every serious golfer have the opportunity to play at least one set of Mizuno irons in their life. You’ll be glad you did!
This is an educational video seeing how Mizuno irons are built. I was custom fit for Mizuno MP-20 HMB irons. Waiting patiently for my new irons during this pandemic. Can't wait to take them on the course.
Started golfing three months ago, bought my first set of golf club which is cleveland combo set. Immediately sell it and bought a set of JPX919 Hot Metal after watching and reading all the good reviews online. Best purchase in 2020 so far.
MP 59's with s300 shafts, 4 years old. Sent in for re shaft KBS Tour 110 regular. I have 712 AP2 with KBS Tour 115 reg + so I'm familiar with them. They sent back like new MP 59's with the Tour 110 shaft with new Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 Midsize grips. The price? Free!!! Not even a shipping charge. They give me the higher ball flight I want and dead straight. I will never buy any other brand of irons in the future. Today I sent in my older MP 32's for the Nippon Pro Modus 3 105 regular shafts. I love these guys. A customer for life.
They go to a lot to get it right so I am surprised to see that they don’t spine line the shaft. Seems like u would also do that so it would be perfect but that’s just me.
I've just bought a used set of MP-54's, to hopefully replace my 712 CB's. But watching how Mizuno do the forging, and build process, makes me wonder why not all companies do this. The transparency is welcomed, and should these work out, fitting for a new set with Mizuno could be on the list.
Bought a set of Mizun MP 5, beautiful clubs! But the grip alignment was horrible off and the grip was twisted. Hopefully it was a "monday-copy" and that contributed to the miss. Sadly i have to wait another two weeks to get them back in my bag, hope i can get them out on the course before the season ends here in Sweden. Can´t wait!
@@Daveporter249 I hope they're correct. I was promised them within 3 weeks ... the latest. You will have seen the excuses Mizuno is making on its website. Big shortage on clubheads for the moment. Custom made clubs could take up to 3 months. and that ... sucks. We will have to wait. Last time I custom ordered my previous set they were delivered within the week. That was great. Now not so great. Damn shame
@@marcschoofs4032 they told me when I ordered them that there was a delay so I was expecting it so im not too worried about it because I'm familiar with all the shortages and I know they wouldn't just delay for no reason. It benefits them to get them out as soon as possible and I know they're doing their best.
I've waited 5 weeks for my combo set. When they arrived, they didn't even resemble what was ordered and clubs were missing. I don't hold out much hope for anything arriving soon....or correctly. No doubt a quality golf club. Just a pity I cannot get to play them.
It's an issue with head stock rather than distance. The MP-18 bladed short irons and MMC long irons have been ordered a lot in mixed sets this time around. Until we've a few weeks of orders in the system, it's very hard to predict head demand to the exact amounts. September / October has been incredibly busy in Cumbernauld since launch of the MP-18. Just threw us out a little bit. We're getting the head stock levels back in shape now.

I have a set of Mizuno Trues about 20 years old. I have hit 100's of irons and nothing comes close for feel. Best club ever made IMO. Even the new Mizuno's clubs do not compare
We'd argue that point - we think the new MP18s edge it. But feel is so personal - we all interpret it slightly differently. Always trust your own judgement!
With all of the tech, laser and alignment, how do the spine and FLO the shafts, when the put on the grips and stickers first, and then aligned the heads with the grips. I think that a SST PURE og another tool, would be at great addition to the custom fit assembly and would set Mizuno even further apart from the rest of the manufacturers.
Impressive video but I'm sure Titleist,Taylor Made, and the other club manufactures do pretty much the same thing and have the same tolerances. I would like to try one of those clubs though.
I am planning to buy jpx 921 irons in graphite shaft but my concern is that stock shaft which comes with these iron set in india is Mi-l-55 is it a good shaft to play with....please help me out...thanks
Hi - afraid that isn't a shaft we know of in US / Europe. There is no 'good' or 'bad' - different shafts will perform differently for different players. We would always recommend a fitting - maybe not easily available for you?
How is its possible that all your golfclubs series 2019 / 2020 are assembled wrong with the grip. When you hold the club in your hands as it should be, the club face point between 3 & 6 degrees to the left. I'm talking about the Outlet shop in Pattaya Thailand. The series 2020/2021 are ok. They should cost 20% less, at least... if they are not made in Japan.... all the made up marketing.... very disappointing.
