We recently spoke with the CEO of Upwalker who said many of the imitation models are dangerous. They have a patent on the Upwalker model where the center of gravity helps prevent the unit from tipping over.
They Upwalker holds patents to prevent their product from tipping. Most of the 'knock-offs' do pose tipping hazards as far as we've seen. Out of all the units we've tried, the Upwalker is still the best!
