I have always known snapper as Chrysophrys auratus, had to look up Pagrus Auratus and found it was an old name for the fish. Strange I have not heard it before as I am 68 and have fished all my life.
You're 100% right. They are Chrysophrys auratus and I don't know where I got the Pagrus Auratus from. It does seem like it was the old name for them but can not find any info of when they where re-clasified.
awesome Coral Bay fishing
Looks like a good season for you all the best keep it up

Nice work mate, no dramas with the sharks? The winches alleviate that? We couldn't get past them up to 70m in Gnaraloo.
Sharks have been better than normal this season, but they can get average. But yeh the winches help along with a few other tricks.
@@SeaforceCoralBay Thanks mate, that's good to hear.
