    The only industry I can think of where one company talks about how great a competing company's products are, is the effects pedal business. We should all aspire to this level of civility.

      It certainly doesn't hurt that (I don't think I'm aware of any) every one of these guys just enjoys what they do and talking about. Brian, more than anything, I think likes to educate. While I chase tone, these guys are leading it!

    I just picked this delay pedal up out of nowhere after looking for months! I had no idea this was on the market til the morning I made my decision, which included pedals that I had detailed over for months. I am not disappointed. This pedal just sounds purely amazing on any setting. Really quite crystalline in nature with the clarity of the notes and beautiful tone.

      Yeah because he’s knocking off all those companies. They all just copy and ”tweak” existing circuits anyway. Same as the craft beer industry, a few good beers, mostly the same mediocre beers.. but boy do they love to get creative with names and labels..

    Brilliant idea to include all the plug-in equivalents! I like the idea of composing with the pedal, recording dry and then being able to send that to a bus and tweak the same sound to taste, or try one of the other presets. Massive kudos and congrats on the new pedal.

    I got this a couple of days ago. Best delay pedal I've ever had or heard. My current delays are a Boss DD-8 and a Fender Mirror Image. The DD-8 is a workhorse and the Fender is a great delay for very limited things. The Metaverse wipes the floor with them.

    This is super exciting. Can't wait to get my hands on one of these! I love that the pedal includes the option for the plugin version. That solves a big problem that I usually have when buying something new. Plugin suites for recording or pedals for performing, that's always the first choice I have to make, but you completely circumvented that whole process, very smart. This is what comes next. Not sure if anyone realizes yet how much this really changes the game.

    • @stoneysdead689
      @stoneysdead689 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm missing something here I think- it "changes the game" because you can use it both for recording and live performance? But I thought you could already use pretty much any pedal to record with- you just have to have an audio interface with the proper connections and an amp. There's a line out on the back of my amp, like most- I can easily convert it to RCA left and right- and the Behringer audio interface I have has RCA inputs and outputs on it. I thought I could just plug my amp directly into that audio interface- run some monitor speakers out of the RCA out puts on it- and viola- the signal is in the computer and I have a way to monitor it. The only issue I see is that the amp is outputting an analogue signal and the computer only accepts digital information- so I have no idea if it's going to work- haven't tried it yet. I don't have any software on my system to recognize the input yet- gotta get something that will recognize it and then convert it to digital format.

    I plan to get this pedal and the plugins is a fantastic idea and I'm sure will be be a new trend going forward for folks. Thank you for 128 preset locations! I have a switcher and this is absolutely necessary. I have a couple questions though. I have the wampler terraform and use it pre/post and love it, but the manual only shows 8 preset locations on it, but this delay allows for 128. Why didn't the terraform get this, OR does the Terraform work the same way and the two manual descriptions are just differently written but you can do the same thing with the Terraform (i.e. set your settings, press and hold switch one, then send a PC message from the midi controller)? Second question, why oh why couldn't you put one or two reverbs in the pedal? This is a selfish request, but I'm dying to get rid of the collider on my board and really didn't want to have to go with 2 pedals to achieve it's removal forever.....
    Thanks for this release, I really like the Terraform and will gladly put this on the board. I guess what Wampler reverb pedal would make sense to pair up with this. I wish it was midi too.....

    Kind of wanting to grab one of these and a Terraform. The only thing that these don't do is momentary switching on the Terraform (like the Boss BF-3) and stacking delays (I have a Boss DD-7 and DD-8). I like to stack delays with one longer, one shorter, so that the analog is about twice as long as the tape. Still might replace one of the Boss DD pedals, as well as my phase, flanger, and chorus.

    I still use a digitech TSR-24. Not a pedal but I just click the foot switch. I do like your pedal though. Are the delays cut below 500 Hz? Do the tails continue? Can you have two delays at say 400ms and another at 800ms?

    Also this is very good great value for money....I think a two channel saturation pedal would be the bees knees two...range from boost to overdrive distorted fuzz...that would be knock out...love the sound of your guitar...teles are magic

    I have the Terraform and the Multiverse. I love them. Can you please please please make a multi reverb pedal?

    Jesus, Brian, you're a machine, man. I'm half joking, but I have to imagine the beginning of this video isn't too much of an exaggeration. I feel like you look at a breadboard or PCB and you get that Beautiful Mind thing going. If I got stuck on a desert island and could only bring one thing with me, I'd bring you and have you McGuyver an AC-130 out of 8 palm fronds, a single electrolytic capacitor, a horseshoe crab, and some ferrous ore from an abandoned mine. Don't ask me how you're gonna use them, you're the professor, I'm just Gilligan.

    Great stuff! Love the sounds. Out of interest, does it have analog dry-through on the mix knob?
