Deere has an issue with those pulley systems. I think there was a 500 hour service recommendation on them but rarely do any get serviced. Probably $3-$5000 in parts alone I’m guessing?? 😬
You guys gonna demo a Deere hinged header this year? You should get a dealer to let you guys put a day or few days on one. I think you would really like it.
@@HaydenOnHarvest our dealer always lets us run 50 hours on a demo if we want to. But not all dealers are the same. Most good Deere dealers would not have a problem letting you guys try a header out for a few days or maybe a week. Because your mom has to try the header out as well.
He did a test on one last season. Besides price weight is a bigger problem. 59k to 42k.hauling extra weight means new trucks and trailers plus new grain cart.
