Amazing gig Spotbot! Taking a tridem up wayyyy past nowhere! What a way to earn some money man! Wow! That’s some serious truckin dude! Cheers from Santa Cruz
Subscribed white bell fist bump etc. Love Canadian content like this. Now in Ottawa but previously Regina, Calgary and the Island, Victoria way back when. Like when Vic had about 500,000 people. Loved the West Coast but family here and now I'm 78. Still riding, though. Can-Am Spyder RT SM5. No rubber fekkin' rubber band trans for me. I'll be looking for your videos. Cheers
The intro to this video used to be my back yard . I grew up in Pincher Creek . Now live north of Grand Prairie and the windmills Frank slide and Sparwood Took me back home. We used to farm the land right beside the bridge In the second clip
cool, very nice area minus the wind. mountains look cool, waterton very cool. ive been to castle mountain once to snowboard way back when i was a teen, my aunt lives in pincher and now so does grandma and my mom.
@@TimelapseTruckerRTOT never seen someone load a haul truck backwards like you did only load them nose to rear very interesting look forward to more videos
The beeping in the rock truck and the hoe is because of the safety sensors usually back up and blind side that screen above the factory screen is cameras and sensors
@@Handles_are_good_for_holding I only got an Xbox so no truck simulator but I play GTA so naturally I steel a truck and do delivery’s through Los Santos
i can't tolerate phone games, but will make a full on truck cab and hood in my house or garage with a full screen set up to feel like im in a rig..... playing a sim
we mostly stay within the provence, sometimes can be long to me would be drive 2 days unload drive 2 days home, but 90% home most nights but 10 hours off but lots of times when its busy 8hrs off from when i get to shop, home, eat, shower, sleep, back to shop equals maybe 6 hrs sleep. can be rough on a guy, this is what most of us do in busy times
Usually call out over the radio at designated locations your direction of travel and loaded or empty. Rule of thumb generally is loaded truck has has right of way so they aren't trying to pass or get over to far on a soft shoulder being heavy, empties can do that haha
i guess if there was cameras everywhere it might work, 9 times out of 10 i dont like the visual on the cameras that are in equipment or cars. im sure a guy would get used to center seating but makes it a bit more work to do wide load driving id say. and also for fossil fuels, its my job......
mmmm unsure, this now for me was 3 weeks ago. put in a time stamp of what you'd like me to comment on. or was i talking about the center seating of the rock truck? center seating in general is not for me i dont like it
Awesome video! Good to see ya back down our way, Ketchup always lookin 💯
thanks, always a pleasure to hit the bush in BC. wish i could do more of it, maybe a bit shorter trailer

Them pipelines putting food on the table for sure. Nice ride along. 🤙
cool to get out and really see the conditions these guys work in, some really crazy stuff to be hanging off 60% grades digging a trench
Another sweet vedio keep them coming really enjoy them
Glad you like them!
Cool to see Frank Slide👍🏻👍🏻
wild story behind it.
I also will be floating tomorrow going from Alfred On to Roxham QC. parc safari picking up case 145 excavator. dropping in ottawa

thanks, its a light up just like the ubers. tons of laughs from people
I like the parts with the truck.
👍
You put up with Canadian winters to drive this in summer with your truck and loads, I understand you!
some things are pretty nice, love a challenge too or just getting off the pavement
smooth operator 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
the first was a bit rough, its been a long time since i loaded a cat
I heard that, JC.
Their 2m wide cab looks good
Definitely load things a lot differently up there then we do in the states
we be off road so its not a lot of rules but still kinda the same for highway
@@TimelapseTruckerRTOT never seen someone load a haul truck backwards like you did only load them nose to rear very interesting look forward to more videos
Backk at Morissey lets gooo big time lowbedder hehe
the big trailer was definitely a pain, had 10 feen on the BC guys
always tighter to passenger track. yes.

Once you turn 50 you won't believe how fast your bag drops
😑

Through franks slide and Sparwood?? Been going that way to ponoka coming from Washington state US
yes
How much experience do you need to start winch trucking, think I would want to try trucking in the future but I don’t want to be a long haul driver

@@TimelapseTruckerRTOT sounds like my type of thing do you just start out as a rig hand then get your class one later on? Appreciate the response
we have two rock truck or yuks. wtv you call them. there fun to operate for a day. but that's it. so rough
id imagine your right, but would be cool for a day
hey where did you download that song you use i think it’s anthony cox?
which song? re comment with a time
So awesome!
thanks
You did this earlier in your career with brawler?
Yeah when they were starting the project. Was my first job at brawler. This was the tail end a year later. This is new footage, not last years
IT appears this lowbed trailer is a full 10 feet wide as there is NO overhang of the tires !
yes its 10 wide. one of the 2 rock trucks was extra wide tires. they were over, ive had 9,6 wide trailers and it was a guessing game
What engine is in your truck?
cummins isx, 550
Hay great truck wanted you to I am a retired HD Mechanic
thanks, congratulations on that retirement👌
jc. How long was it round trip?
45 min up and 1.5 down, if i had propper jakes that would hold i could go a bit quicker. anything over 2nd gear it runs away.
How long did it take to get out the job from brawler office?
Hearing rpms go up while on the Jake's terrifies me
I disagree . love the sound of Jakes going up
@martinfaubert7340 Based. Jakes going up lets you know you are still alive
its a run away most days, you get used to it, you really rely on them foot brakes.or your driving really slow down the hill too
your camera almost got crushed. lol. shit. that was close
theres been a few close calls
lmfao 10point tie down points. 🤣
at most 5 point, one over the blade and 4 corners, isnt this typical? maybe one on the ripper but seems dumb so im sure its DOT approved
lmao
Love to know what the road etiquette is when driving these narrow winding roads. How fo you know who's where and who has right of way etc.
Usually call out over the radio at designated locations your direction of travel and loaded or empty. Rule of thumb generally is loaded truck has has right of way so they aren't trying to pass or get over to far on a soft shoulder being heavy, empties can do that haha
Radio communication. Give way to loaded trucks
Sometimes the guy coming up hill has the right of way, especially if you are both loaded it can be more difficult to get going again.
Tri drive,…….no other option
I guess with a comment like that you don't like topsy no Center position no electric truck😂
i guess if there was cameras everywhere it might work, 9 times out of 10 i dont like the visual on the cameras that are in equipment or cars. im sure a guy would get used to center seating but makes it a bit more work to do wide load driving id say. and also for fossil fuels, its my job......
Was that a dig about TOPSY the hybrid logging truck???
