It's easy to watch you operate, but another to operate. Easy to make a mistake too. You're doing a pretty good job in my opinion. See you next time. John T
Why do you use a header trailer when the wheels fold down into a trailer on the headers I get when your moving but I don’t get why you don’t just fold them to go in between fields?
Every farms expenses are different than others. Although some farmers it would be cheaper and less work to hire us to come in and cut it rather than them own one.
Great job Hayden keep them coming thanks for taking us along
great video. So glad you didn't slide out of your seat..lol... Thank you
Come on 5k!!! Doing great job and thanks for bringing us along!
Haha that’s 5k more than I thought I would have. I’m very thankful.

Wow, great. Hello! I'm watching your video, have a nice day.❤❤❤
What towns are you cutting by if you don’t mind telling me
Looking good guys be safe out there your buddy from Nebraska
In Oklahoma we had steep terraces. Very few of my dads farms were flatland
Only visible a little Kosha weeds last run 7:02
How do you keep your combines so clean?
Inside or outside?
@@HaydenOnHarvest both they seem to be cleaner than most. Great videos by the way
How old is your header?
Is the crop yield the landowners risk? Do you get paid per acre? Assuming the weeds are you’re problem to deal with.
Both. Higher the yield the more ware and strain is it on the combine thus the $$ per acre goes up.
What number do you run your draper speed at on your header in thick wheat?
3-5, in the weeds and thin wheat I have it on 10 other wise it wants to fold inside the draper belt causing it to get packed full of straw.
Your autosteer lines are they preset for the fields you cut? Or does the second combine wait until first combine has set the line?
The second combine waits and gets behind the first combine and centers their line.
@@HaydenOnHarvest Thanks, greetings from Prince Edward Island, Canada. The winter wheat is heading up here.
Does the new combines tell you how much grain is going out the back end
Yes but it is never right we always get out and walk behind the combines and get a visual on it.
You’re spoiled cutting too much flat ground. 😂
Fun fact Texas is the only “flat” ground we have haha everything here on out will be rolling hills
I live in the part in Texas that doesn’t have hills

Way faster to set them on a trailer
Make since hey Siri on a big custom crew and we just
Put them into trailer mode then put them on a trailer
Did not me to say ha Siri oh also thanks for replying and love your Videos your friend from Kansas
What is the difference between a harvester and a conbine?
Header cuts it and the combine separates the grain from the plant.
So what type are of yield/bushels per acre are those fields averaging? Thank you
25-40 bu

👍
Has your family considered a Shelbourne Reynolds header? It is suppose to be faster? I'm not a farmer so I have no idea.
A stripper header. Yes. We normally run them in Kansas but with the amounts of weeds the farmer did not want us to wreck them.
Hayden do you guys get paid by the acre or how? Like your videos!
Acre. Thank you!
You must have got a new camera. The videos are really clear.
Same one since day one haha
What flag is that on the other harvester?
Texas
You keep saying sickle you mean the knife on the header
No, I mean sickle
I don't understand why do farmers plant their ground and then have, say you guys harvesting it? why don't they do it themselves? great videos btw!
Every farms expenses are different than others. Although some farmers it would be cheaper and less work to hire us to come in and cut it rather than them own one.
Probably some farmers pay someone to seed, spray and harvest. The machines required are very expensive to buy or lease.
Hence why Agri Contractors exist!
Gow many more days you think you will be in Kansas
Not sure, rain is coming in the forecast.
@@HaydenOnHarvest that seems to happen when ever we get to our first stop
But im on a Google phone so not detailed view 😊
