here is a quote I like from Srimad-Bhagavatam: animals should be treated as our own children - this can happen only when one has a full conception of the creator

How wonderfully summarized. Thank you for providing this informations also in a nonviolent way. I think it's essential to not attack non-vegans for their behavior

I was born feeling this way however my family thinks I am mad and now my son does. However we are intelligent enough to know that if I can eat an animal or animal product how can that be normal. And I am almost 50.

Wow, I love your bold and profound statement, and the way you deliver it in a non violent way.
I felt really bad when you talked about the dairy industry because thats the only thing I do consume. I am coming from a place of bhakti yoga, and we do use milk in food we are cooking, but we do not simply drink it. I believe milk was allowed before because of the love we had for the cows and the way we treated them to get our milk.
Now we just buy it in the store, and have no what so ever relationship with the cows. I have not looked in to the dairy industry but I know it is probably bad, even here in Norway😢
I have been following you for a long time and I am in great awe of your wisdom. Thank you for being bold and honest 🙏

As I heard the milk u r referring to was Amrit that’s why it was used in the homas and Abhishekam ! Now most of the animals r given harmones and so it is just unhealthy milk!

When people ask me why I’m vegan I always struggle with the answer. The core point is that it can’t be otherwise. Since I started with meditation years ago I couldn’t eat animal products anymore. It was a natural process.

I decided to watch this video, I have been a vegan.
Although I personally can find myself in your values I hear you jumping to conclusions and making statements about spirituality that are yours exclusively.
I just can't agree on your conclusions and definitions Your definitions are personal and are rather dogmatic.
"It is unreasonable for a spiritual person not to be a vegan "
1.Human beings by nature are not vegan and many religious people that consider themselves spiritual are not vegan.
2."spirituality is by nature a form of compassion and extension of our heart"
Spirituality is way more than compassion.
For example, many philosophers, that consider themselves or are considered spiritual individuals do look at compassion in a different way and is certainly not the only extension of your heart, this is your conclusion of what a spiritual person should do, feel or act like.
Nevertheless, nothing wrong with your values inmho however you leave a lot of people behind.

Human beings by nature are vegan. Which is why we have the digestive system of omnivores and not carnivores (option to be a human or an animal), It is because we had to survive for centuries we ate things that are dead. Now we dont have to survive and can choose to be a human instead of an animal. Eating dead impure bodies does nothing but destruction to your mind body and spirit. Go find an enlightened being who advocates it and let me know. If spirituality, is based of the idea we are all one and the goal of reaching the highest level of oneness, then yes it is a form of compassion and love, every other emotion or feeling is a subsection of such

My heart can expand and open without going against nature. Not eating meat causes damage and suffering to me and my child. We must eat something… how can plants exist outside of your love and compassion they don’t wish to be eaten either… why did TH-cam show me this… I don’t agree with any of the definitions of spirituality ❤😊

Youve convinced yourself that not eating dead impure bodies is causing you and your young one suffering. You made my day lol what a comedian. Your heart will never expand and open if you are eating things that are dead and traumatised. Sugar coat it however you like. Maybe you feeling bad is a brain detox from a lifetime of impure living, it happened to me for the first few weeks/months. Now i cant remember my last moment of weakness
