Okay, hope this doesn’t end up being a rant but as with any fan from their BEAST days, I have so much to say. But I’ll stick to the prompt. It really heartbreaking that the fandom has split on opinions on this, but I’ll just start with the background that my bias from 2009 was Junhyung. I now actively avoid him when possible - especially with his recent promo. So yes, while the music did nothing wrong, I do care about who produces them. I can’t avoid the older songs he wrote since the current members sing them, but I cringe and really wish the past could have been different. However, I will support Highlight for as long as they are active 💡
I’m glad you shared your thoughts. I loved his song Flower but I can’t separate him from that scandal whenever he pops up. I completely agree with everything you said
