Pinned against MBLAQ when they debuted (and honestly came out on top between the 2 groups). Gained success and fame despite being from an unknown, small company. HELD THAT COMPANY ON THEIR BACKS FOR YEARS. Had one of the biggest bg fandoms in south korea at one point (they were 2nd, right behind Big Bang). Every comeback stage slowly looked like a mini solo concert bc they had so much fans that wanted to enter as a live audience. Fanchants were so loud whenever Beast was on stage... The list is so long, I can keep going... I miss Beast so much. I miss OT6. Kpop is not the same for me anymore without them since some members went to the army or they’ve went their separate ways. They will always be a beautiful memory, and I’m glad there’s videos of their performances that I can always look back on whenever I’m feeling nostalgic. It’s June 2020... and I miss Beast so much ㅠㅠ

2nd generation is the golden era seriously mostly 2nd gen kpop songs always shows their vocal ability I'm not saying current gen is bad but I don't know mostly kpop songs now often show only edm beat music, visual, and dance and they sometimes forget to sing because too much focus on choreography 😭
ikr 4th gen can’t relate BUT most of them lipsync because 4th gen groups have more complex choreographies, which again a problem because kpop groups should have decent choreos that are suitable to sing live afterall they’re singers not just a dressed up dance screws or unions

you know millions of people heard kpop back during the 2nd gen but didnt like it, some people even thought it was a parody, they didnt take it seriously and thought kpop was a joke, sadly the style turned people off

It's already the last quarter of 2020 and here I am still watching 2nd gen Kpop videos. Yes the newer groups are talented and really popular but I still miss how charismatic and have powerful presence 2nd gen groups are. Or maybe Im just old to keep up with the newer groups. But for me 2nd gen is the Golden Era of Kpop.
