I can't belive kpop stans nowdays doesn't know about beast/highlight. Literally everybody knows songs like fiction,shock and good luck in korea. They were the one of the first boy group from a non big 3 company to get a daesang. There one of the few groups where every member is both handsome and really talented (check out their mr removed). Unfortunately because their rapper yong nunhyung left they might disband but hopefully not. (And also you forgot 12:30)
i agree, 2011 Fiction got me interested in kpop, song and dance, before that i was just only fans of MJ since 4 y.o. And up until now, i only following B2ST, they left me with... an unusual impression that i will always cherish.
tbh fans don't have to know or like kpop because of beast, everybody get into kpop for diffferent groups, different era, different music or different reasons. if they like kpop because of different groups it's okay because times are always changing and everybody have a different taste and preference for music.
I think because of kpopers nowadays (my sister is the perfect example) is 00-07 liner. And that's why their preference automatically directed to EXO/BTS (as the biggest boygroup). I remember back then I show my sister Ribbon mv, and she likes it. But she says, "But they're old, I prefer Jungkook oppa," 😂. Sorry if they old sis, we can't help it 😂
For a group that was considered the rejects of kpop they made such a name for themselves and I truly fell in love with them during there run. All of there music is actually so great and its sad to see where they are now i really do miss them, espically fiction that was such a major song and that was when people stopped calling them the rejects of kpop. If anyone can bounce back from the ashes of nothing it is literally this boy group. They've had members leave, there own label turn there back on them, there own set of scandals, the general public against them. They've literally had everything that could be against a group and you know what they made themselves rise from all of that. So I do believe that they can make a comeback and it be so great
Remember before they debuted everyone looked down on b2st and couldn't care less about them because mblaq had more appeal. Turns out..b2st gave us hits after hits...whereas mblaq barely did something.
Beast was one of those groups where passive audiences could actually see significant improvements in vocals/dance/songwriting through every comeback. That’s how they gained fans, their talents and friendship were unstoppable.
B2ST was the group that got me into kpop in 2010 and my ultimate bias group. this brought back so many memories. they will always hold a special place in my heart.
I never clicked so fast in my life, and started crying. Beast was my first kpop group I ever listen too and how I started High school.Before High school I heard their song Mystery in a anime video and got curious and found them, thanks to them I also found Hyuna. They are literally my life, I have alot of their albums and they have helped me when I'm down and every time I don't listen to them for a while I just fell in love with them all over again. They are still my favorite group to this day and I look forward to their return. I do hope in my heart one day Junhyung will comeback to the group since he did not leave the label. @@helo9885 A little late, but Gikwang's solo wasn't as successful as expected by the company and Gikwang himself. (He was gaining traction by dabbling into acting, but he probably wasn't financially performing up to par in recouping costs and lowering the financial risks taken on by Cube at the time.) Gikwang and other Beast members did share a little bit about how they became a group in their reality show on preparing their debut. The members struck up the idea of becoming a group while Doojoon, Junhyung and Yoseob were backup dancers for Gikwang. They reasoned the idea that uniting as a group would strengthen their respective shortcomings as performers/singers and showcase a more unique identity among their peers ( In their early days, the members leaned towards more of a masculine, brooding image. That was considered more niche when there were few boy groups going that direction (MBLAQ, 2PM, HOMME, for example) back then. Plus, a win-win when it comes to all the members getting a second chance debuting. The company was super against forming a boy group because they were wary of the members' physicality + "it" factor for their identity as performers while balancing their priority of getting a strong foothold for 4minute and the risk associated with being a startup music label. Nevertheless, the company relented and took a risk on them.
Yes, Beast/Highlight was “subject to their time” and should be bigger internationally now if they did not encounter so much challenges and didn’t enter military service at such a propitious time. It would interest you to know that BTS’s role model is Highlight; they watched Beast’s 2012 Beautiful Show and made the resolve to hold a big successful concert just like Beast.
They faced to much i hope after the military they will soar high again and clarify all the fact about junhyung he deserves the truth. I will always support them
I think b2st had so much potential to become as big as what bts is now ,at least in korea, too bad a lot of things happened, but they are so good, i hope with their new comeback they can make it big!
You should have clarified that Junhyung was involuntarily dragged into the JJY scandal by the journalist who inserted his name onto the groupchat! by the way she has already admitted to it. What he saw has been clarified in the court documents, 1 video touching, no rape! It also doesn't help that people confuse him with Jonghyun ex CNBlue who was in the groupchat!
I think he's still going to be involved in production. But maybe not promotions Cause they all opened a company together. They're clearly close and wanted to work together and on their own solo projects. And he had always been the one who worked most on the music
Junhyung was edited into the group chat, they did him pretty dirty there. In fact he was just in a 1:1 chat with JJY who sent him a video where he touched a girl, the video was filmed with consent but she didn’t give the permission to share it. That’s what Junhyung watched, that’s it. He didn’t distribute it any further and didn’t take videos himself. His only mistake was that he kept being silent about anything that happens, but honestly how was he supposed to know which shady things happened in the group chat when he wasn’t a part of it? But he decided to leave Highlight anyway, so the other members would have been left alone (Gikwang was about to release a solo album). He enlisted in the military quietly and there hasn’t been any news regarding him since then. Everyone has the right to stop supporting him, but I feel like sometimes people are too quick to judge. And I want to be honest: if I had just received that one video Junhyung received, I don’t think I would have gotten to the police either, especially when you don’t know the about the group chat. What cheers me up is that Junhyung sometimes changes his instagram bio to communicate with the fans. I really hope he’s doing fine, just like the other members Edit: Came back to this comment after one year. My opinion hasn’t changed, glad to see Junhyung started posting on instagram again, and happy that JJY is in jail
I'm with you! Highlight are also my ult! Hoping that Junhyung comes back to Highlight! If I had seen a video like that and wasn't aware of the group chat I wouldn't have reported it because what was there to report!
Before BTS, Beast was my ultimate group... I miss them so much 😭😭 every comeback was perfect ! I still support highlight 🙏 I continue to listen beast album on repeat ahaha their song don’t get old at all ! The group who made me into kpop was Suju (special place in my heart for them 💜), then when beast came I totally fail in love with them.. and when they quit Cube I start to fail into BTS xD

“Comeback kings” - that’s the perfect way to describe them! I followed BEAST since the very beginning, their story left such an impression on me. The underdogs of the industry rising up! Gave me chills! That’s why I love them! Hyunseung leaving was a big hit but they still produced and performed well as 5. But I’m not sure they can survive the loss of Junhyung. Eventually, the 9 lives runs out. Still such an iconic group that will always have a piece of my heart. Thanks for sharing their story!
Seeing Highlight at the same red strings as BTS. They had passion for music, creating, dancing, and perform. And they characteristics are amazing, their energy together is crazy. I saw another thing which is: starting agency by yourself is NOT easy. Yes, you get more freedom doing music, arrange schedule, but they need another head(s) to think about marketing and expanding their business. And how to get rid of people who tries to working on their own agenda.

He was my bias wrecker and just recently I unfollowed him and noticed that right when I was going to unfollow him on IG he made his acc private and Yang Yoseob unfollowed him... I don't know what to believe anymore as there are ppl saying that him and Seungri are innocent/guilty and so on. I just want the real news here. If its true that they are both innocent then I feel bad for unfollowing Junhyun and Seungri... especially Junhyun cause he made his insta private and who knows when he'll make it public again :/

He didn't rape or filmed anyone but he knows what's going on and he was laughing at some women in a video and didn't want his friend to be catch and didn't report him and his friend to the police, imagine being friend with a rapist and knowing that and keep being friend with him. My ultimate bias for the longest time. I remember me sobbing for hours when they announced to change their name to highlight lol. Beast just means so much to me.
BEAST was/is one of the power-house groups in KPOP. you might wanna know how big they were, go to any Korean-English based forum. BEAST popularity during 2010-2011 was like BTS' current popularity (in a context). Imagine, in 2011 we had SNSD with The Boys, BIGBANG with Tonight (underperformed), 2PM with Hands Up, 2NE1 with I'm the best etc, yet they managed to won 2 Daesangs in that year! According to GAON, BEAST Digital sales are the second highest after BIGBANG, with 35M+.
I tried so hard not to cry... but here i am a mess... thanks nathan! But in all seriousness, they were and still are my ultimate bias group after all these years. Beast was the first group i was like okay these are my boys. these are my loves of my life. And Seeing them live at kcon17 is still like a dream and its been like 3 years now. I honestly have never been so lucky in my entire life. I was lucky enough to get the high touch and getting front row (p1 pit) there really are no words to describe how lucky and happy i was. And seeing your fancam brought back all those emotions like... How lucky can a fan ever be T.T Even though there are so many groups out there that I love they will always be my number 1. So i really do hope to see them together again. They did it once i know they can do it again. Fun fact Hyunseung came out from the military today!
Am happy u said Beast/Highlight was “responsible for thousands (in the world) being Kpop fans.” That’s why relatively new Kpop fans should check them out. They’re the best Kpop act. All of their releases are awesome. And their vocals are smashing!
yoseob and sandeul of b1a4 are my top favorite kpop vocalists. no one can top them. i lost my shit when yoseob and sandeul did a collab stage and i'm hoping they do another!
Beast/highlight journey is definitely one kind of a journey. my auntie loves them soo much too haha my only concern is that Highlight without junghyung as a main rapper in the future feels off. althought, I still have hope for them to comeback great again after finishing off the military.
Afiana Qanita Yes I share your concern. But I expect Junhyung to continue to write and produce songs for Highlight since he co-owns with them theiragency. And they’re friends and business partners. And I also feel he will rejoin them because let’s face it he did no crime and whatever lapse of judgment he might have committed is only too human and should be forgivable. He deserves a second chance.

Beast was the first group I got to know because of their World Tour in the beginning of 2012 when they had an interview on national TV. I got curious and totally fell in love with "Take care of my girlfriend/Say No" which was the first korean MV I ever watched. Now I know thousands of K-pop songs and hundreds of artists but I'm still most excited for their comeback as Highlight or solo artists.
I waited for this Video for so long, thank you so much. I do hope Highlight make their way back and of course I hope that this wont be the last time we heard music of Junhyung. Fan since Day 1.
I have to say Yong Junhyung is a genius song-writer, like literally every single song he made is just a masterpiece. Let's not forget also the big role he played in Beast/Highlight's success basically just bcuz of his songs!! I believe if it weren't for his songs I don't think they would've received the same amount of attention (ofc the members all are legends). I just objectively believe he didn't deserve the amount of shit he received from the scandal. A genius like him should continue to make music, for real, he is a gem Korea shouldn't lose..
Yess i completely agree with you.. It's sad that even many Highlight's fans want to boycot him. I don't understand why they are extremely toxic. It seems like a normal phenomenon in Korea that any idol involving a scandal, he/she immediately is boycotted by audience. They don't even care to find out true information but just remember the worst things being said about someone. How dare they call themselves Beauties/Lights?
B2ST/Highlight is definitely a great group even back then for getting so big without being under the "big 3" Newer fans may not know this but it was very impressive for kpop groups back in the day. Their albums are so good I'm definitely gonna listen again after this vid!

Also Beast/Highlight is one of the few groups with a regular spot on Yoo HuiYeol's Sketchbook. Which is significant in that he doesn't invite any group back if they don't sing 100% live.

gonna have to fight you on the biggest american fan because i def hold that title XD i remember talking to my friend who also liked kpop (really she stanned bigbang, daesung is her ult bias haha) and couldn't believe she didn't know beast, especially because hyunseung was almost in bigbang. internationally beast was underrated 1000% and i'm salty about it because they have consistently been so good.

I love everything about them. From Beast to Highlight, they have never stopped working hard. They are well-loved because they are so sincere and inspiring. Also, can we talk about their FRIENDSHIP? They stuck together from B2ST pre-debut to re-debut as Highlight, they respected the majority when making decisions, and stuck together through the pains of building their own agency (if you are a business person, you know how hard it is to build your own company). They are now CEOs with taxes to pay and trainees to manage, and at the same time, a Kpop group with a relevance to maintain. If that is not power of their friendship, I don't know what is!!! 😭😭😭 Of course it goes without saying that their music is utterly beautiful and true to their own style, and their live performances are always just so live (😂) and amazing.
Donna Estrella Totally agree. Even when they were rookies, they had chemistry and power and panache. And all of this owed to their close friendship forged in the crucible of rejections and challenges. They proved their friendship when they left Cube and formed their own agency and against negative predictions, successfully rebranded as Highlight. They inspire us all!

Aww, Nathan! I really liked this video. Beast/Highlight has always been one of those groups that I've liked, whose hits and MVs I've enjoyed. Yet I've usually placed them on the backburner. Still, I'll be rooting for them when they finally do have a comeback.

Their comeback is outstanding. Not the End has very meaningful lyrics and the song is moving and inspiring and the vocals excellent. All of the songs in Blowin’ are wellmade and reaffirm Beast/ Highlight’s reputation of having the best discography in Kpop. What a class act!
B2st is one part of my life. I've been their fan for 10yrs and when I saw the title of this video, click on it instantly. B2st is the best, I still think like this, even their name now is Highlight, they are still the best. I was waiting for this video! Beast/Highlight video! I started listening to them right after there debut since 2010 so I appreciated their growth. My bias is actually dongwoon lol also btw he’s also in the military. So all of the members are currently in the military 😅

If you sum up the whole scenario junhyung's standing best describe to be " He was just in unfortunate situation" 1st - when they forcefully try to fit him in their media dramas by editing as if he was in the dirty group chat when he was not part of it in the first place. 2nd - when the media releases half truth and misleading articles w/c deceives the recipient by presenting something believable and leads to false conclusion. (Even when police already clarified from the beginning that he was just a witness,many still misundestood and accuse him of being a bystander cuz media is dragging his name everywhere without the inttention of clarifying things. it took almost a year of w/c it was revealed that he just receive 1 video, not a molka nor a sex, but just a consented touching of a body part of a girl where it was "consented to be filmed"..after kbs exclusively get hold of the 67 pages court docs.) 3rd - it was unlucky of him to get acquianted with the perpetrator JJY. And became an easy target of media to be used for their dramas. (Given that he was from highly respected group and just newly established their own company ) w/c will cause a huge stir to the public. In short he was just got entangled with the patch which the media used to cover up the big fishes mess.
I'm a LIGHT and this was so well resumed that I cried a little. Junhyung was never charged for burning sun scandal and only brought in as a witness in JJY videos case. In wich he declared to have reiceived one video but proven to not distribute it and stopped talking to him. I want them to comeback, you gave me a little bit a hope so thank you.

Beast was the reason why I became a kpop stan and they were my bias group for YEARS. Their song wasn't the first kpop song I heard but they were the one that made me stay. Makes me kinda sad that kpop stans nowadays don't even know who they are...
So many memories came back with this video, thank you! Beautiful Night was indeed their best promotion. It was the first one I did from beginning to end and the ones after never matched this one. - The sets were amazing for every single stage, from day one to the last: a concert set up at Music Bank, a shooting in a nightclub with the boys dancing a few meters away from the fans (the shooting that day lasted until 2AM, it was so exausting, but the boys were so hyper). We even had a pyramid at Inkigayo, and they pushed the stage against the sitting area, so the boys were right in front of us at the beginning, I was so not ready for that. I still remember the Guerilla concert in front of Gwanghwamun, it was epic and the scenery was magical. Hyunseung had a musical that night, just a few minutes away, and he came right after. He was so energic during the shooting but we could see during the break how tired he was but he kept smiling anyway ;___; - The song was so catchy and happy going. The fans were going crazy every single time, even during other promotions we could see the air electrifying every time they did Beautiful Night. I believe it's the most loved song among B2uties/Lights and even for the boys. They gave everything for the title song, but then BN came in and BAM!, they were putting the stage even more on fire. - I never saw the boys so chatty, so smiling, so energetic during a promotion, every single day, from beginning to end. And for the first time, Doojoon could celebrate his birthday in Korea since BEAST debuted! I wasn't supposed to go inside since I messed up the online ticketting, and all the spots left by fans who couldn't come were already full. But since it was Doojoon's birthday, the staff made an exception and we could all go inside. Doojoon saw by mistake the banners fans were holding for his BD, but he acted like he saw nothing, covering shyly his eyes, ahah. And right after we sang HBD to him, he came in the rows were we were sitting and did hi5 with the fans who were on the sides. I've never been so happy to be in the last row xD And the list could go on and on! With Plz don't be sad, I felt like we were back in Beautiful Night area, but then again with Couldn't Be Better (minus the awesome sets at music stations everyday, but seeing how much work it is, I understand ^^). Anyway, thanks again for the video, I feel a bit sad when these days so many K-pop fans never heard of them. I hope this video will make them listen to BEAST/Highlight from time to time :)

It is so refreshing to see someone talk about my boys! Bad girl was the first intro to Kpop I ever had, thanks to one of my good friends. And I fell in love with Beast then. It wasn't a super smooth follow for me, I would occasionally check up to see where my guys were. I freaked out for a second when I went to check up on how they were and saw that they were no longer known as Beast, but super relieved they were still around as Highlight. Although it breaks my heart for them not to all still be together, I am looking forward to them making a comeback! Forever in my heart. Thanks for the videos!
My ult group since 2016 they were the first group i stanned and ulted and this video was the one i probably requested 6373773727 times Without them I probably wouldn't be into kpop this much And I started crying from the beginning I am so proud of my boys I love them so much And to clarify it: Junhyung did not participate in sharing or taking those videos he also never hurt a woman...and he got one video from JJY without asking for it...thats why the police said that he is only a witness not a suspect I know that he won't comeback to the group but I hope he won't give up on music since he is the one who created most of these legendary songs
BEAST got me into kpop with SHOCK..I'm a beauty and now Light, still ongoing. They are the only kpop group that I stay loyal too .. hearing they are coming back from military..I AM SO MUCH EXCITED!!! I believe the boys will rise from all the breakdowns that have happened like they always do. HIGHLIGHT FIGHTING!!!!
2021 and Beast/Highlight remains the best Kpop group. When they started, they were compared with Shinee. Later they began to be conpared with Big Bang because of the consistency and the quality of their songwriting and recod producing. Later they began to be compared with TVXQ for the power and charisma of their lives and concerts. When they formed their own agency and rebranded as Highlight, they began to be compared wih Shinwa. It was during their “debut” as Highlight that BTS said they considered “Beast-it is now known as Highlight” as their inspiration back when BTS were rookies. No Kpop act has been compared with major Kpop acts so frequently as B/H. Which means they’re simply the best.

Purple Cat95 Yes you’re correct. There was no MV when Mystery was releasedin 2010. Cube made a video of Mystery to drum up interest on Beautiful Show concert tour in 2012 prior to 2012 official comeback Beautiful Night.
They werent just the comeback kings, they were king of fan love and service. The amount of thought they put back then for fans and the things they did for them was always praised. B2uties were always known to be one of the most loyal and humble fandoms at the time
I’ve been a KPOP stan for almost 10 years now and Beast was one of the first groups I listened to! I fell in love with themselves, the music and their mvs. They paved the KPOP wave for me and I can’t thank them enough for it. 😭 When I heard they were coming back as highlight I was so happy but sad at the same time bc all the members wouldn’t be together as the old group.. I haven’t heard much of them lately but I miss them so much and I hope they’re all doing well and are healthy 🥰😭

Beast imo is such an amazing and unique group. No group has made me feel their kind of love and passion for what they do. Each member is so different in their own ways and their concepts are amazing and diverse. I’ve never been so attached before. So many amazing memories with them. Lots of iconic songs that I still adore listening to today! Even though Hyunseung left the group, I still hope that with his apology, that the members can accept him and understand how bad he felt with his negative attitude during Beast. I cry watch this video. I'm a fan of Beast/Highlight since i'm in High School and i'm already a veterinarian now. What an amazing effect this boygroup gave me so i can survive in college. They have best vocal, group harmony, song, dance, personality and etc. They have hard and long journey to achieve their dream. What an amazing group. Of course, they are still human, they have their own problem and fault. But their hardwork is amazing, i just hope they become somebody that enjoy every little things in their life. I can't belive kpop stans nowdays doesn't know about beast/highlight. Literally everybody knows songs like fiction,shock and good luck in korea. They were the one of the first boy group from a non big 3 company to get a daesang. There one of the few groups where every member is both handsome and really talented (check out their mr removed). Unfortunately because their rapper yong nunhyung left they might disband but hopefully not. (And also you forgot 12:30)

I think because of kpopers nowadays (my sister is the perfect example) is 00-07 liner. And that's why their preference automatically directed to EXO/BTS (as the biggest boygroup). For a group that was considered the rejects of kpop they made such a name for themselves and I truly fell in love with them during there run. All of there music is actually so great and its sad to see where they are now i really do miss them, espically fiction that was such a major song and that was when people stopped calling them the rejects of kpop. If anyone can bounce back from the ashes of nothing it is literally this boy group. They've had members leave, there own label turn there back on them, there own set of scandals, the general public against them. They've literally had everything that could be against a group and you know what they made themselves rise from all of that. So I do believe that they can make a comeback and it be so great

B2ST was the group that got me into kpop in 2010 and my ultimate bias group. this brought back so many memories. they will always hold a special place in my heart.
I never clicked so fast in my life, and started crying. Beast was my first kpop group I ever listen too and how I started High school.Before High school I heard their song Mystery in a anime video and got curious and found them, thanks to them I also found Hyuna. They are literally my life, I have alot of their albums and they have helped me when I'm down and every time I don't listen to them for a while I just fell in love with them all over again. They are still my favorite group to this day and I look forward to their return. I do hope in my heart one day Junhyung will comeback to the group since he did not leave the label. (He was gaining traction by dabbling into acting, but he probably wasn't financially performing up to par in recouping costs and lowering the financial risks taken on by Cube at the time.) Gikwang and other Beast members did share a little bit about how they became a group in their reality show on preparing their debut.
The members struck up the idea of becoming a group while Doojoon, Junhyung and Yoseob were backup dancers for Gikwang. They reasoned the idea that uniting as a group would strengthen their respective shortcomings as performers/singers and showcase a more unique identity among their peers ( In their early days, the members leaned towards more of a masculine, brooding image. That was considered more niche when there were few boy groups going that direction (MBLAQ, 2PM, HOMME, for example) back then. Plus, a win-win when it comes to all the members getting a second chance debuting. The company was super against forming a boy group because they were wary of the members' physicality + "it" factor for their identity as performers while balancing their priority of getting a strong foothold for 4minute and the risk associated with being a startup music label. Nevertheless, the company relented and took a risk on them.
Yes, Beast/Highlight was “subject to their time” and should be bigger internationally now if they did not encounter so much challenges and didn’t enter military service at such a propitious time. It would interest you to know that BTS’s role model is Highlight; they watched Beast’s 2012 Beautiful Show and made the resolve to hold a big successful concert just like Beast.

You should have clarified that Junhyung was involuntarily dragged into the JJY scandal by the journalist who inserted his name onto the groupchat! by the way she has already admitted to it. Junhyung was edited into the group chat, they did him pretty dirty there. In fact he was just in a 1:1 chat with JJY who sent him a video where he touched a girl, the video was filmed with consent but she didn’t give the permission to share it. That’s what Junhyung watched, that’s it.
He didn’t distribute it any further and didn’t take videos himself. His only mistake was that he kept being silent about anything that happens, but honestly how was he supposed to know which shady things happened in the group chat when he wasn’t a part of it?
But he decided to leave Highlight anyway, so the other members would have been left alone (Gikwang was about to release a solo album). He enlisted in the military quietly and there hasn’t been any news regarding him since then.
Everyone has the right to stop supporting him, but I feel like sometimes people are too quick to judge. And I want to be honest: if I had just received that one video Junhyung received, I don’t think I would have gotten to the police either, especially when you don’t know the about the group chat.
What cheers me up is that Junhyung sometimes changes his instagram bio to communicate with the fans. I really hope he’s doing fine, just like the other members

Gave me chills! That’s why I love them! Hyunseung leaving was a big hit but they still produced and performed well as 5. But I’m not sure they can survive the loss of Junhyung. Eventually, the 9 lives runs out. Still such an iconic group that will always have a piece of my heart. Thanks for sharing their story!
Seeing Highlight at the same red strings as BTS. They had passion for music, creating, dancing, and perform. And they characteristics are amazing, their energy together is crazy. I saw another thing which is: starting agency by yourself is NOT easy. Yes, you get more freedom doing music, arrange schedule, but they need another head(s) to think about marketing and expanding their business. And how to get rid of people who tries to working on their own agenda.

BEAST was/is one of the power-house groups in KPOP. you might wanna know how big they were, go to any Korean-English based forum. BEAST popularity during 2010-2011 was like BTS' current popularity (in a context).
Imagine, in 2011 we had SNSD with The Boys, BIGBANG with Tonight (underperformed), 2PM with Hands Up, 2NE1 with I'm the best etc, yet they managed to won 2 Daesangs in that year! According to GAON, BEAST Digital sales are the second highest after BIGBANG, with 35M+.

But in all seriousness, they were and still are my ultimate bias group after all these years. Beast was the first group i was like okay these are my boys. these are my loves of my life.
And Seeing them live at kcon17 is still like a dream and its been like 3 years now. I honestly have never been so lucky in my entire life. I was lucky enough to get the high touch and getting front row (p1 pit) there really are no words to describe how lucky and happy i was. And seeing your fancam brought back all those emotions like... How lucky can a fan ever be T.T

Beast was the first group I got to know because of their World Tour in the beginning of 2012 when they had an interview on national TV. I got curious and totally fell in love with "Take care of my girlfriend/Say No" which was the first korean MV I ever watched. Now I know thousands of K-pop songs and hundreds of artists but I'm still most excited for their comeback as Highlight or solo artists.

I love everything about them. From Beast to Highlight, they have never stopped working hard. They are well-loved because they are so sincere and inspiring. Also, can we talk about their FRIENDSHIP? They stuck together from B2ST pre-debut to re-debut as Highlight, they respected the majority when making decisions, and stuck together through the pains of building their own agency (if you are a business person, you know how hard it is to build your own company). They are now CEOs with taxes to pay and trainees to manage, and at the same time, a Kpop group with a relevance to maintain. If that is not power of their friendship, I don't know what is!!! 😭😭😭 Of course it goes without saying that their music is utterly beautiful and true to their own style, and their live performances are always just so live (😂) and amazing.

Their comeback is outstanding. Not the End has very meaningful lyrics and the song is moving and inspiring and the vocals excellent. All of the songs in Blowin’ are wellmade and reaffirm Beast/ Highlight’s reputation of having the best discography in Kpop. What a class act!

If you sum up the whole scenario junhyung's standing best describe to be " He was just in unfortunate situation"
1st - when they forcefully try to fit him in their media dramas by editing as if he was in the dirty group chat when he was not part of it in the first place.
2nd - when the media releases half truth and misleading articles w/c deceives the recipient by presenting something believable and leads to false conclusion.
(Even when police already clarified from the beginning that he was just a witness,many still misundestood and accuse him of being a bystander cuz media is dragging his name everywhere without the inttention of clarifying things.
it took almost a year of w/c it was revealed that he just receive 1 video, not a molka nor a sex, but just a consented touching of a body part of a girl where it was "consented to be filmed"..after kbs exclusively get hold of the 67 pages court docs.)
3rd - it was unlucky of him to get acquianted with the perpetrator JJY. And became an easy target of media to be used for their dramas. (Given that he was from highly respected group and just newly established their own company )
w/c will cause a huge stir to the public.
In short he was just got entangled with the patch which the media used to cover up the big fishes mess.
AND HE DOESN'T DESERVED ANY HATE, ANY BAD AND NEGATIVE COMMENTS. HE ISN'T PART OF ANY OF IT.

I'm a LIGHT and this was so well resumed that I cried a little. Junhyung was never charged for burning sun scandal and only brought in as a witness in JJY videos case. In wich he declared to have reiceived one video but proven to not distribute it and stopped talking to him. I want them to comeback, you gave me a little bit a hope so thank you.
Thank you so much for this video. They are my faves for the most of the 9 years I'm into kpop. Junhyung brakes my heart with that scandal because he was my bias too. But I'll always support the others and hope they reunite after all this military time. 💜
They weren't my first K-pop group to hear about but they were my first love, without them I wouldn't have been a massive multi stan 8 years later.

Beast/Highlight is really an amazing group❤️
Beast was the reason why I became a kpop stan and they were my bias group for YEARS. Their song wasn't the first kpop song I heard but they were the one that made me stay. Makes me kinda sad that kpop stans nowadays don't even know who they are...
So many memories came back with this video, thank you! Beautiful Night was indeed their best promotion. It was the first one I did from beginning to end and the ones after never matched this one.
- The sets were amazing for every single stage, from day one to the last: a concert set up at Music Bank, a shooting in a nightclub with the boys dancing a few meters away from the fans (the shooting that day lasted until 2AM, it was so exausting, but the boys were so hyper). We even had a pyramid at Inkigayo, and they pushed the stage against the sitting area, so the boys were right in front of us at the beginning, I was so not ready for that. I still remember the Guerilla concert in front of Gwanghwamun, it was epic and the scenery was magical. Hyunseung had a musical that night, just a few minutes away, and he came right after. He was so energic during the shooting but we could see during the break how tired he was but he kept smiling anyway ;___;
- The song was so catchy and happy going. The fans were going crazy every single time, even during other promotions we could see the air electrifying every time they did Beautiful Night. I believe it's the most loved song among B2uties/Lights and even for the boys. They gave everything for the title song, but then BN came in and BAM!, they were putting the stage even more on fire.
- I never saw the boys so chatty, so smiling, so energetic during a promotion, every single day, from beginning to end. And for the first time, Doojoon could celebrate his birthday in Korea since BEAST debuted! I wasn't supposed to go inside since I messed up the online ticketting, and all the spots left by fans who couldn't come were already full. But since it was Doojoon's birthday, the staff made an exception and we could all go inside. Doojoon saw by mistake the banners fans were holding for his BD, but he acted like he saw nothing, covering shyly his eyes, ahah. And right after we sang HBD to him, he came in the rows were we were sitting and did hi5 with the fans who were on the sides. I've never been so happy to be in the last row xD
And the list could go on and on! With Plz don't be sad, I felt like we were back in Beautiful Night area, but then again with Couldn't Be Better (minus the awesome sets at music stations everyday, but seeing how much work it is, I understand ^^). Anyway, thanks again for the video, I feel a bit sad when these days so many K-pop fans never heard of them. I hope this video will make them listen to BEAST/Highlight from time to time :)

It is so refreshing to see someone talk about my boys! Bad girl was the first intro to Kpop I ever had, thanks to one of my good friends. And I fell in love with Beast then. It wasn't a super smooth follow for me, I would occasionally check up to see where my guys were. I freaked out for a second when I went to check up on how they were and saw that they were no longer known as Beast, but super relieved they were still around as Highlight. Although it breaks my heart for them not to all still be together, I am looking forward to them making a comeback! Forever in my heart. Thanks for the videos!

BEAST got me into kpop with SHOCK..I'm a beauty and now Light, still ongoing. They are the only kpop group that I stay loyal too .. hearing they are coming back from military..I AM SO MUCH EXCITED!!! I believe the boys will rise from all the breakdowns that have happened like they always do. HIGHLIGHT FIGHTING!!!!
2021 and Beast/Highlight remains the best Kpop group. When they started, they were compared with Shinee. Later they began to be conpared with Big Bang because of the consistency and the quality of their songwriting and recod producing. Later they began to be compared with TVXQ for the power and charisma of their lives and concerts. When they formed their own agency and rebranded as Highlight, they began to be compared wih Shinwa. It was during their “debut” as Highlight that BTS said they considered “Beast-it is now known as Highlight” as their inspiration back when BTS were rookies. No Kpop act has been compared with major Kpop acts so frequently as B/H. Which means they’re simply the best.

Purple Cat95 Yes you’re correct. There was no MV when Mystery was releasedin 2010. Cube made a video of Mystery to drum up interest on Beautiful Show concert tour in 2012 prior to 2012 official comeback Beautiful Night.

I’ve been a KPOP stan for almost 10 years now and Beast was one of the first groups I listened to! I fell in love with themselves, the music and their mvs. They paved the KPOP wave for me and I can’t thank them enough for it. 😭 When I heard they were coming back as highlight I was so happy but sad at the same time bc all the members wouldn’t be together as the old group.. I haven’t heard much of them lately but I miss them so much and I hope they’re all doing well and are healthy 🥰😭

Beast imo is such an amazing and unique group. No group has made me feel their kind of love and passion for what they do. Each member is so different in their own ways and their concepts are amazing and diverse. I’ve never been so attached before. So many amazing memories with them. Lots of iconic songs that I still adore listening to today! Even though Hyunseung left the group, I still hope that with his apology, that the members can accept him and understand how bad he felt with his negative attitude during Beast. And Junhyung as well, I hope they still remain in contact. I still hold them in my heart as my OT6. I miss them so much more than anything. They deserve the world 💗 (Also, if you don’t know Beast/Highlight, you should really get on that because they are just amazing in every way)

What an amazing effect this boygroup gave me so i can survive in college. They have best vocal, group harmony, song, dance, personality and etc. They have hard and long journey to achieve their dream.
