Dealer replaced my fuel pump under warranty. Brand new one installed makes similar whining noise, but not quite as loud now. After spending a full season on the boat I can say that the pump noise definitely gets more noticeable as the fuel gauge drops. On a full tank it’s barely noticeable, vs. half to a quarter tank, as I imagine it may be working a bit harder...
@@AmirMpiana my 2012 mx185 sounds exactly the same, no issues with performance just annoying at low speeds 😊 looks like a serious pain in the A$$ to change

I think is coming from the fuel pump.. try to hear the pump before the motor starts.

Does it change if you take the oil filler cap off while it's running?
No it does not. I have since isolated the noise to the fuel pump. No fix.
My 4.3 MPI have the same noise even after changing fuelpump. Did you solve the problem?

No. I isolated the noise to the fuel pump too. Never solved it. I just live with it. When hatch is down and underway you can hear it.

Yes noise mostly went away after changing IAC muffler on throttle body.

Yep its the dang fuel pump. I just live with the sound now. Can't hear it underway.
