Show idea … short interviews, of each of you (Chris, Mick, and Gadz) Sample questions: 1) What drew you to prospecting and mining as a hobby? How long ago? 2) In your opinion, is the hobby growing, shrinking or static? 3) What would make the hobby even better or more enjoyable for the hobbyist (better equipment, more areas open to prospecting, etc?). 4) Do you have any words of wisdom for newbies?
You two are like a cross between a mad scientist and a mad mechanic. And where would the world be without them both? Take care brother. And yes, one should always wash their balls.
Love the reminder you give that prospecting is not about making money… and the comparison was perfect. Though I’m still putting kids through school and working full time… finally bought a pan and classifier over summer, to make sure I eventually take the kids ( and myself) out and about. Love your work, and the fact you’ve looked critically at what you love doing, and changed. Great job. And from my Boxer to yours… keep chasing those butterflies, and don’t worry about what is in the way!!!
I most proudly support the Vo-Gus Mining-Independence Revolution! Live your dream smacking the gold out of stone; I love your tenacity, and may your adventurer's spirit prevail!
another great video, and i agree its not about how much gold you get its about how much fun you have doing what you love, the gold you do find is just the bonus.
I always anticipate seeing your next video not sure if it's seeing your enthusiasm or the great content. Keep with it you always bring a smile to this old weathered face!
Mick is a genius it's really interesting to watch you two. I can just see through these videos just how your minds work an that you two bring out the best in each other
I just bought one of those adventure sluice for in South Carolina. It's where the first gold rush was before the miners went to California. I only have found flour gold but I love it
Actually South Carolina gold was officially discovered in 1827(?), but gold was already being mined about 20 years before with the Reed mine in North Carolina. Also Georgia was pillaged from the Cherokee for the gold there about 1829 where the second US Mint was opened there. Of course the Mint only lasted as long as the gold did.
Love watching your videos. Has helped me a lot out on the creeks. I’ve been collecting quartz rocks, getting a dolly soon to try my own crushing at home. Keep up the great work mate 👍🏽.
I'd love to see you and Jason do a video. Ive followed both you guys for several years (Plus Gadzee now)....And thank you very much for the now years of entertainment!
love the journey vogus, watched it for a couple of years now, and really enjoy the channel thanks for your efforts for us folks it sure is appreciated :)
I have been looking at a gold claim in Colorado that is full of hard quarts the heating up of the courts and then fracturing I had not considered before I find your videos very educational and I do truly enjoy them
Here’s my comment . Now, hand over the ore! Nice video, Chris. Keep at it. We’re all rooting for you. Seems MBMMLLC is becoming increasingly popular in the whole TH-cam mining community.
I have been watching your programs "videos" every day. I find each one different and extremely interesting. I also enjoy your interaction with your friends. I live in Florida, USA and there isn't any gold to be found here but I prospect with you each and every day. You are very personable and I hope you continue producing your wonderful videos. I have subscribed a long time ago and like as many videos as I watch. Peace and love to you and your friends. E.N.
Such a fun hobby! I need to try and find some of that to crush for myself :) but I did pan my first few tiny pieces of gold a few weeks ago! Love watching your videos Chris, keep having fun!
I'm glad to hear you are in contact with Jason M.B.M.M when you were doing a little smelt and said you didn't have a big enough furnace I mentioned Jason and the way he used the kale wool to build his good luck with the future endeavor and Have a great day and prospect on
What a find, This looks like alot of fun. Totally understand the time on the side of steep hills. Looking forward to your future update on more advanced recovery methods.
Don't you love it when you run into a Gadzee in the wild? They're so rare!! 👍😉 p.s. I'm loving Gadzee's videos on his channel @buckshotprospector! Fricken HILARIOUS!! 😂
There is a couple veins over around where I work at forgetting gold and you're right it is some very very tedious work with crushing it by hand and then hand panning it. And then everything else involved in separating all the gold
crushing ore is one of my favorites as well and I actually get way more gold that way and more consistently than in the rivers. great video. heavy pans
when i was a teenager i stumbled across a massive vein of quarts with lots of gold like stuff in it in the whiteshell area when i went hiking in the middle of nowhere, couldn't take a sample, never went back, you reminded me of it. if you're ever in the manitoba/ontario area...
I find "ore" at the river near me when I'm panning , I save them and crush it during the winter months here in Canada. I love the search even for the tiny gold I find. Have a wonderful day!
Nice work again Chris. Love the look of the new dream mat..... think I'll be dropping in to see Dustin at GoldRat ;) I love my gpx6000 but working the creeks still appeal to me too when I'm feeling fit.
Good on you Chris for getting right into your passion for gold ore it sure is a lot more work but I see that is what you love about it. I' am surprised your miller table is losing a lot of gold my guess is you will be going back through the tailings under the miller table?!. Well go forth and enjoy mate see you on the next video either here on y.t or patreon or f.b lol you do get around lmfao....
Just found your vid and as i am starting out in the hard rock mining myself very cool and sweet nuggets. Had the same problem with millar table so switched to offino table. Far better results catching flour gold. Keep up great work and looking forward to more video's. Cheers from Canada
I live in Denmark with no opportunity to have this kind of hobby, but this kinda stuff is most certainly on my bucket list to do either in New Zealand, Australia or USA on a vacation. Great and interesting video as always :)
On the plus side of living in Denmark, you can easily go to the Original Legoland, which is a hell of a long way from Australia. Mark from Melbourne Australia (Just ever so slightly envious at age 58)
and we have our own "baltic gold" (Amber) on some beaches, I just found a piece yesterday. Even so, I would also like to take a prospecting trip to NZ, Tazzie or Australia one day. From Fyn.
Sweden has places where you can learn how to pan gold, and aluvial gold to be found in streams and creeks ... Guess it`s funnier to go for the bigger gold found in AU. but for the starters !!!! have a great day
Nip across from Hirtsals to Kristiansand on the supercat, get into Rogaland, Norway and you're on the gold. Plus, I would seriously explore Denmark as used to find it around Kiel in Germany and near the Danish border when I lived in Fallingbostel.
@@r0b1975 I remember reading about a gravel pit owner that has recovered gold in Southern Jutland, but not in commercial quantities, just some fine dust a glacier brought down from Sweden.
Just watching the different methods of prospecting you use is why I watch your channel Chris it’s entertaining and enlightening. Thanks for your efforts over the years mate. 👍🏻
What what what, my goodness that is something amazing. The amount of work your willing to go through is something I wish I had the gumption to even attempt.
Its always great to c how u work Chris,, the rewards maybe little but the education u teach is the most valuable part 🙂 keep up the great work n also its great to c GadZees face, great camera work GadZee 😁 👍
Chris, if you glue old (or new) carpet to your noisy equipment (including your dolly pot) you will reduce the noise and ringing significantly! Use indoor/outdoor carpet glue and the thickest densest carpet you can find, not the thin stuff! I have been enjoying your work and important comments for years and forever indebted.
Caught your recent video on Spud and I am here for hard rock! Bring it on dude. I love it

I would love to see this idea make the rounds of all the gold channels. Really be fascinating.

“…one should always wash his balls.” Yeh, but is the lawn trimmed or shaved?

Hi, I have 12 years in hard rock mines as an electrician. Now retired, I always enjoy your videos. I learn so much.❤️🙏
I've just started prospecting, only found gold dust in a creek so far, but your videos give me inspiration to keep at it.
if youre finding flour gold there is more there, you just need the right spots...well done
I’ll quit stepping over quartz. It’s literally everywhere here in NC.
One of these days I'm going to buy some prospecting equipment and go out and look for deposits. Your videos always make me smile.
Love when you process hard rock gold ❤
The patience you show for all that fine gold is amazing. Such a great hobby.
Love the reminder you give that prospecting is not about making money… and the comparison was perfect. The transition to load seems to going very well, can’t wait to more of what you find and learn more about this process In prospecting and mining.
I'll throw my hat in the ring for the ore chunk. Great content and proof life is about the journey moreso than the destination!
