- We are Mark and Rad, a travel couple based out of South Caorlina. For this adventure we traveled to Asheville North Carolina as our home base to zip line and go white water rafting in nearby Marshall North Carolina. We used French Broad Adventures (link below) to do both and this is an amazing company. This experience was so awesome we cannot wait to share it with you all, if you go to Asheville or the surrounding area this is for sure a must do! Trust us, you will have the best time and see some beautiful scenery as well. Day one we decided to go White Water Rafting in North Carolina on the French Broad River, which is the 3rd oldest river in the world.....that's just cool! The rapids were amazing as you will see in the video, but the guides and the staff at French Broad Adventures is what makes the whole experience way more fun. We got very wet, but were kept very safe and everything surpassed our expectations. We also went zip lining using the same company to see the Blue Ridge Mountains and zip line through the forest. They have some of the longest zip lines in North Carolina and the Asheville area with two of them over 1,000 ft. long. If you wanted you can Zip Line and go White Water Rafting in the same day as the facility provides both services and it is a great way to experience the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. This was a memorable trip, we hope this video gives you some ideas and helps you plan a trip to Asheville North Carolina......and see the natural beauty that is a short distance away from the city. This is perfect for families or groups of friends that want to do something aside from the breweries and restaurants. That guides beard screams I know what I'm doing. It's been a while since I've whitewater rafted. Actually, last time I went was with the same company. We will have to go hit them up again next time we head to Asheville.
Lol he sure does. We loved the company! You guys should definitely do that! We are planning on going back to do some canyoneering with the company this summer.

You definitely should, you can go on the 10 rafting time, 2:00 zip line and make it back to Asheville in time for dinner. It’s a great way to experience the outdoors.
