This looks good. I've recently had one installed but the demister seems to be on all the time. I'm trying to find out if this is normal or not. It's on whether the mirror light is on or off. Do you have a switch anywhere on the mirror that turns the unit off? I can't seem to find one on mine.
I have this mirror. How do I keep it at one certain light settings without it constantly going from bright light to evening type of light? How can I just keep it at the brightest setting? 🤷🏻♀️
Im new to this project, If your wall doesn't have the grounding wire, but your mirror does, do you just attach the mirrors grounding wire to a green screw on the mounting plate??
Hi mate how does wire from mirror connect to mains wires? Did you use connector box? Does that stop mirror sitting flush? I though you could recess it into cardboard bit ? Great video
Did you ever find out the answer to this? How can the mirror sit flush against the wall with the wires at the back? You must have to use some sort of connector box surely!! I’m confused!!
@@mariebass4720 there’s a gap behind the mirror where the wires are sitting. The bracket holding the mirror to the wall extends pass the gap in the back of the mirror kinda like a picture frame. The wires are wired up just like a normal light fixtures. The only difference is the mirror is the light fixture. The light switch will still operate it but the switch is likely left in the on position.
@@TheMan-qv1bl Thank you for answering so quickly & maybe I’m missing something here but as in the video the back on my mirror is flush and has the black wire coming out of it. If I put a terminal block in & wire in to the cable coming out of the wall it will be too bulky to sit flush against the wall if you see what I mean!! If I take the back cover off the mirror & pull the black wire through & instead feed the cable coming out of the wall through the hole in the back of the cover and then connect to a terminal block I wont have enough slack to be able to screw the back back onto the mirror to make it safe!! Does any of that make sense?? Thank you.
Hello everyone. Just wondering … should I leave led mirrors powered on “standby” all the time (with led lights off) or should I turn off power switch altogether. Want the mirror to last as long as possible :) thanks
Internally, the switch is a low powered 12v switch, so it does not harm the life of the mirror. Both the LED lighting around the mirror & the smaller LED at the bottom will be fine.
I have a light avobe my mirror right now. Can I get power from there for this mirror and if cables are not long enough can I just add wired to existing cables to connect mirror? Will I still need the power, neutral and ground cable too or just power and neutral? So with this mirror I won't be needing the light avobe mirror right?
I like your mirror.Your mirror looks nice.i suggest you to add some custom option.Last years we have some add on function in led mirror and it increases our sales a lot.Suggest you to do some add on function
Ok, unlike a couple of others, I'm not going to ridicule you for not wearing safety glasses. It's a personal choice. In my case I have an outlet directly below where the mirror will hang. I would prefer to just plug it in. I guess there is no reason why I can't put a plug in on the wiring is there? That would be the easiest and best situation for me. Thanks for the video. And don't worry about not naming the product. It's not a big deal either. There are hundreds of led lighted mirrors out there.
Hi I have a similar mirror, mains powered. It is wired to turn on when we turn on the bathroom light. I wanted to ask is there anything I can do so the led lights turns on automatically when I turn on the bathroom light. I previously had a mirror where was this was the case, but this new mirror only turns on when I switch the light on from the mirror itself.
Smart switches can accomplish this, but if you are technically inclined you could also install a pir motion sensor which would attach to the 12v constant wire in the back of the mirror
Hello, is something what i can buy to test this led mirrors? I have few for sale but i want to test it before selling, thank you in advance for your reply
My parents installed one of these mirrors in their bathroom and i have a question is the light button always supposed to be their cause we have an ordinary light too and only when we turn of that light can we access the mirrors light. Is it supposed to be like that?
Can it be connected to a hidden battery (inside that frame or something), I'm asking for a vanity desk mirror that will probably going to be moved at some point and visible cable hanging from the mirror to socket is not an option. Important thing is how much battery does that LED stripe consume?
Hi that was useless full can u get a bathroom mirror that lights up with out electrical connection iv just had my bathroom tiled thanks so don’t really want to take the tiles off
No Name dude it’s wired to the same mfkin wires that were already to the previous light fixture. You know that light in your bathroom that’s above your mirror & sink. It’s that same thing except the mirror is that damn light. You just disconnect the white & black wires from the original light & connect it to the mirror light. On back of the mirror is a black & white wire you match the colors 🤷🏽♂️
WOW..... Health and safety jackets on but forgot to wear safety glasses..... (fragments of tile can shoot off) In a few months' time the LED tape will come loose as all manufactures use cheap mounting tape. The mirror is more of display and not practical as one needs a good light source while shaving.....Sorry just thinking out loud......😊😊🧛♀️
Lol... Yeah typical builders. Should be interesting to see hope long it lasts I spent £63 on it. Light level are not too bad. I don't think my camera does it justice. Thanks for the comment always good to get someone else views / thoughts.
I have a similar mirror but with the leds built into the box which surrounds the frosted areas. Seems like a better design. Been using it 3+ years now and haven’t had a problem
Ok so I’m confused, probably because I am a woman lol Do you need to have a plug/ electric cable right behind the mirror as you have one sticking out of the wall and I don’t have any in my bathroom so how do I connect it ? 🧐
The wire came out from behind the wall. So I got the builder just to rip a little bit of the material from behind the mirror so there is space for the cable and connector.
whats the point of reviewing something when you don't say who the manufacturer is or supply a link , the link to the amazon one is a different mirror altogether. Pretty pointless as I'm unable to purchase the same product
The seller of this mirror only sells on ebay so if you search ebay UK for: LED Illuminated Bathroom Mirror,Touch Sensor, with Demister Pad. Can be installed either Portrait or Landscape The first one you see will be this one. Hope that helps.

No that doesn't sound normal.
How can you tell if the de mister is on all the time?
tf u guys didnt even show the part of the connecting wires
That's what I'm saying. The most important part. Both the wires frm the mirror are black how do you know which 1 is which.

This mirror is really cool

Just a wire with plug on there connect to the mirror to test. If you're not sure make sure you consult an electrician.
My parents installed one of these mirrors in their bathroom and i have a question is the light button always supposed to be their cause we have an ordinary light too and only when we turn of that light can we access the mirrors light. Is it supposed to be like that?
Not really, all depends on how the wiring has been done. Look like they just used a cable from existing light not really the norm.
@ you'll have to get an electrician to do that, you can get a wire coming off the lighting circuit which is how mine was done.
You didn’t show how to switch the demista on and off?
Can it be connected to a hidden battery (inside that frame or something), I'm asking for a vanity desk mirror that will probably going to be moved at some point and visible cable hanging from the mirror to socket is not an option. Important thing is how much battery does that LED stripe consume?
Leds are low voltage so you probably could by passing the transformer but not something I've tried.
Nice mirror. what is the function of the sensor switch ?
Thanks a ton! This a impressive video.
Thanks for the comment much appreciated!
Buzzing sound problem Help?

You can buy battery powered LED mirrors
Those mirrors come with 4 feet of wire, so you didn't pull all the wire out the back.. you can tuck it back in or pull up to 4 feet out.
Didn’t help... they show making the holes and then there is a wire coming out of the wall?
You’re an idiot and should not do it DIY style, please leave it to the pros. That is simple electricity 😂
U guys are genius block wired the connect phase ! 💀
Looks Good GS :-)

You dind't even show how to run wires in bathroom. I want to learn how to hardwire. Video doesn't make a sense. Waste of time.
You need to look for a bathroom 1st fix video. Not a product reveal and setup.

Just to add brightness levels aren't too bad, I don't think my camera does it justice.
this is my concern too, definitely not so bright as two light bulbs (left and right) framing the mirror
What did you do to hide the wire?
The wire came out from behind the wall. So I got the builder just to rip a little bit of the material from behind the mirror so there is space for the cable and connector.
