The first Taika Waititi film I saw was "Hunt For The Wilderpeople" (2016) and it was such a quirky, energetic, yet heart-touching film. I've noticed a lot of his films since then are like that: action-based, but ultimately sweet.

I looked up this guy because I just saw "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" and I LOVED it. I can and appreciate his humor and fully understand he wrote and directed this movie. Thank you for this movie. The comedy and serious mix was so well balanced and it was so funny and yet serious at the same time. The changing directions and the feel good ending. I looked up this guy because I just saw "Hunt for the Wilderpeople" and I LOVED it. I can and appreciate his humor and fully understand he wrote and directed this movie. Thank you for this movie. The comedy and serious mix was so well balanced and it was so funny and yet serious at the same time. The changing directions and the feel good ending. It has been a while I have seen a movie I enjoyed so much. Thank you for making it.
