I love that bias tape feeder.
Paper clips! I got those! Ok now to get the rest of the ingredients.
This is so cute. Got me this emoji 😂😂😂
Can't wait for my rucksack to arrive!💜
I'm totally going to make these
Beautifully done and designed
Just made my first purchase. So excited!
So nicely done…❤️❤️❤️
Incredible work!
I don't know if I'm being invasive, but I would like to know where can I get this waxed canvas?
Theres a wide array of suppliers. Sail Rite is one of the most popular Something in the
12 oz weight class would be nice and sturdy
Ficou chique muito lindo
Perfeita ❤
Wow that looks spectacular mate!
Killer bag man! 👍
beautiful! thanks for sharing!
So good!
Hey! love the vid... I've been wanting to make my own canvas bag (I've made a few all leather duffels) I was wondering where you sourced your canvas from? thanks!
If you're still pondering, and to others reading this, Big Duck Canvas has some nice waxed canvas. They even have fun colors.
Love it!
Did you line the bag? Just wondering how the waxed canvas affects the clothes in the bag. Do you sell the pattern?
I didn’t and it doesn’t. People wear waxed jackets all the time. The wax doesn’t flake off or anything
Looks great! I have a question, What’s the name of the foot you use to conceal the stitching of the bag inside, the one that pulls the ribbon in and hides the seams? It’s a great tool!!
It's a binding attachment. it's all totally separate feet, feed dog, needle plate, and arm cover that needs to be switched out when needed if you don't have a dedicated machine just for binding.
It's called a "Folder" made in many sizes and styles used to run your bias tape through.... Bias is the material on the roll
Hi, what machines did you use to build this beautiful bag?
I see one was a Juki, what model?
And the other two I think were cylinder arms? 🤔
What brand are they and where did you get that binder attachment from and what size is it?
Thanks.
Looks like a Techsew 2800-B
ThAt is a techsew 2800-b. I know use an adler 867. Much better machine. The techsew was frustrating
Adler 869**
what size needle you runnin in that juki lockstitch?
130 needle. Tex 90 thread
Hey. I have a semi specific question about a skipped part. Could you answer still?
Ask away
@@mstrckln at about 1:37 youre sewing one side of the zipper to body, then next second the other side is sewn on, but when I made my first bag i realized i could not sew the other side because the body is one piece and I couldnt maneuver the needle to make that sew line (I have only a flat bed sewing machine). Making this stitch is impossible with a flat bed right? I had to do it by hand on last bag but am trying to find a work around for the bag im making now. am thinking of cutting across the bottom of the bag and making a flipped seem there. Do you get what im trying to say, and/or have any advice? Thank you! -Matt
WAIT. I think I know what i did wrong in process the first time! I think I closed the ends of the zipper before stitching zipper to bag! Solved question on my own after re-watching I believe. sorry to make you read my random thoughts haha.
Yep. Sew each side of the zipper to each side of the bag, then close the zipper and attach the ends
