Another enjoyable weekly entry, Mark. Had this on Monday morning before work with breakfast. I concur with Alex: thank you for the important work you and your colleagues do. Here's wishing both of us a good week ahead! 😎🎶
Another splendid, nay, lovely episode Mark. Enjoyed it a lot. Love Jokerman and License to Kill. A rich and pleasant week it would seem. Thank you for sharing Mark.
I’ve never had London Calling. Bee and Storm - loved those vids. Loved both poems. Pup cup!!! The creepy molts! Wednesday has ominous music. The deer were pretty. I saw the bartender. Lili made watching Carol so much better - she provided commentary. I heard my name. Spider!!!
Thanks Mark for the mention! The public shoutouts are amazing. The poems you read from your book are great. Book on audio opportunity? Nice pup cup dog outing, they never have pup cups on menus? Sucker punch is one I have not watched. Anything that gets a 6 on IMDB normally I like. This one gets a 6.1. Hoping for a quick recovery of the woman in the ER. It seems Iowa needs to allocate more resources. Had to fast forward through the spider footage but enjoyed Carla the lizard. Great video as always.
I like the book on audio idea! The woman in the ER was back to work the very next morning. These people are beyond dedicated. Always love hearing from you, Shawn!
Hi Mark! Those neighbors of yours! Yikes! Applebee's is a place I haven't been in a while. Food looks good. Your work must be very stressful. How awful about that physical assault. The juxtaposition of the terrible situation at the hospital with the peaceful deer was quite something. I remember that movie "Carol"...I like anything with Cate Blanchett. Karlach the lizard! I wonder what Colton would think of that guy. 🤠
Colton would love Karlach. For breakfast!! Thanks for dropping by, Mike. Applebee's is kind of joke "fancy restaurant" in my small town. Sort of like Talladega Nights. Anyway, as my father used to tell me, "You're a scholar, a gentleman, and a fine judge of coffee!"
WTF! Where do you live, Mark?!?! 😂 “Give me a hug, give me a hug… find it in your heart.” 😂 Breaking out the big guns today: Infidels & London Calling. Spanish Bombs … what a melody. Many thanks for the shout out pal! My videos seem to flip flop between irreverent nonsense and po faced preaching. I need to find the sweet spot or as I like to call it the Mark Morris Zone (MMZ). I’m not a fan of Sucker Punch at all (like a 2 hour music video), but like your daughter, I’m sure my daughter would love it too. Wasn’t a fan of the CGI, but I maybe didn’t give it my full attention on first watch. I’ll get it lined up for our next movie night. Oh, didn’t know you worked with trauma experienced young people, Mark. I was doing the same for the last 2 years. Just finished working for the charity in August. A tough, rewarding and under appreciated line of work … you have my respect. Have a good week my friend! Jack
Sucker Punch definitely isn't for everyone. I probably wouldn't have given it much attention except that Lily loves it so much. That trauma work is heart wrenching. I've done it for 22 years now. It can be incredibly rewarding, but there are days when you feel helpless and hopeless. I admire anyone who does it and gives it their all. Some days, I have a hard time hitting the MMZ, myself, Jack!
Hi Mark - Infidels is a really great record. London Calling is in my top five records of all time. I half expected a tornado after that storm video. Lovers' Spat - very interesting. I enjoyed the poems. (I once had a few poems published in some campus journals, but I would never read them online!). If you haven;t written any poems about tarantulas, maybe you should 🙂
@@MarkMorris-1962 Of course, Bob Dylan published a book of poems called Tarantula, but I don't recall any Tarantula references. I think your voice would suit the few poems I had published. I was compelled to do a reading what back when, but I ensured that I had three glasses of wine first!
I've just reached Dylan's Christian phase in my listening. Steve sent me a copy of Infidels a long time ago and I'm looking forward to it, but I'm trying to stay in rough chronological order. I enjoyed your poems. I hope this week goes more smoothly for you at work. Cheers Mark!
Like a lot of fans, I was not thrilled with the born again records. I do love Slow Train Coming, but I only found a few songs on the other two albums that I liked. Infidels was refreshing after that trio. So far, this week as been much calmer at work! Thanks, Scott!
Nick Cave said Slow Train Coming is his favorite Dylan record, because the Christianity is so mean spirited and sinister. I can see where he is coming from.
Enjoyed the episode Mark, especially those poems. Really well done. Thanks for sharing your work.
Thanks, Rich! That means a lot to me.

Thanks, Ed! Monday went well, so we're off to a good start!

Thank you, Morten! Some of this week seemed as long as a bad year, but there were plenty of highlights, too.
@@MarkMorris-1962 Well, you have family and friends to watch movies and lizards eating grubs with. So that’s nice.
Hope next week is even better Mark.

Another great one! I like the mood you set up for those ghost storys and thanks for the name drop!
Thanks, Jack! You are always so kind.
Your editing is getting more refined. And it makes for a fun watch every time. I always look forward to your vids.
😁👍🏻
Thanks, Kyle!
