These shutters were pretty easy to install. At the time of posting, they’ve been up for about a week and we absolutely love them. They are way better than the shade and curtain combination we had before. They block out light pretty good at night and it only takes a quick touch of the hand to let the morning sun in. They also seem to do a good job of blocking out the heat from the sun.

Great video! The blinds look great! I just bought a new build home and I've dreamt of having shutters in my home so I'm looking at several videos. I'm going to have mine installed but at least I can see how they look. I'm sold! 🙂

Just got mine delivered ..I was wondering about the trim pieces, but you showed how to separate them from the stiles..Thanks...Im about to install now...

Did you pre drilled your walls first before mounting the frame?

I don't specially remember. Although I usually do pre-drill to prevent cracking, etc. I would recommend doing so.

What color bright white closely matches the Plantation shutters ?

Sorry, I'm not sure. I just order the white ones to match the trim in the room.
