As has already been mentioned in your other video the display has a brightness setting, this bike is set at the lowest. The brakes are good once run in as is the speed for a 125. Otherwise good video you have gained a subscriber.
Hello bulldog Mack! Thanks a lot for those insights, it is true that the brakes of the XSR are much more suited for a "125 cc riding", I still do find them a bit lacking, but that is probably because I am used to bigger systems! Ride safe!
I've been using an xsr125 for work commutes since November and agree the brakes get a little better as they wear in but I had to change my front brake pad already at 3k miles. Also, IRS tyres are not stocked at yamaha dealers. Picked up a puncture and now running a BT46 on the back. They perform better for this bike as you feel more in the corners. Dash wise I haven't had an issue, it's set on light 2 and have been able to read in all weather. Maybe height if rider may effect this? Nice review
Of course it's only 15hp. It's aimed at the learner legal market where 15hp is the legal ceiling. Criticising it for that is like watching a disney film and complaining there wasn't as much sex and violence as a Tarantino movie. I enjoyed the rest of your review though. Thanks.
Hi there Richard, it seems my criticism of the speeds the XSR 125 can reach was misinterpreted and for that I apologize! Of course it is a motorcycle that needs to be put in context, and for a 125cc, it does a very good job! Still, for riders that don't know what to expect from this kind of motorcycles, it is logical to explain to them that the max speeds reached aren't on par with bigger machines! Ride safe!
Eehhh....what did you expect then, 78HP and a top speed of 289km/h? It's a 125cc E5 right? And after the break-in, you will get more power out of it, but it will always remain a 125cc.
Hello! I am 6,2 actually so maybe in the same range as you are! I didn’t find the XSR to be the smallest 125 on the market but still, it is bearable for a tall rider, albeit not as much as with a bigger cc bike! Ride safe!

Such a nice color! Sad that they don't have it in the newer models.
lovely bike :)
A cheap ride, gas wise.. More and more important they tell me
Sure does, the way things are going, it never hurts to ride something that is low-consumption gas wise !!
Ride safe!
I love this bikes design. Is there a similar bike with the same design but with a little more power? Something that can do at least 80-90Mph
XSR 155
Thanks for review but you're a little annoying talking trash about the bike my friend.
I make with this bike 127kmh. and I am 1.80 cm and 78kg greetings
Is set just as cheaply as your wallpaper work.
At £4.500 for a 125cc this most certainly is NOT a budget bike !
this is everything but a budget bike
Hello, may i ask how tall you are? I am little over 6feet and would like to know if the bike will look too small for me

15 hp is more than enough. My bike has only 13 hp and it's very strong.
As you mentioned there is no heating issue. But how about the vibrations?? And is it a 6 speed gearbox or a 5 speed gearbox?? As it’s a 125cc bike
6-speed gearbox. I don think any existens of the vibration.
we have xsr 155 in my country, the vibration is a nightmare lol
still a beautiful bike tho!
My MT 125 was fine until a big bike pulled up or zoomed past me.
