My grandpa was born on the same year with princess Margaret(1930) and he is still healthy as ever.

Princess Alexandra of Kent was born 5 months before the coronation, I doubt she was presence at the coronation but in case she was, she would probably be the only person that is still with us today.

I like them for being slightly strange. I don't want them to change. They get all embarrassed about their ceremony for some reason when you talk to them, but they don't get that a lot of people from different countries think it's really cool. At least I do.

After King Charles today, it’s just spectacular to se hake well it was done back then. The length of the trains and filling the Abbey. A ton more regalia and tradition. Bowing and not turning away from the king. Was just beautiful. I hope William will up it.
William will reduce the pomp even ,more to fit ther 21st century,, Charles used the same robe as his grandfather
The Coronation in 1953 lasted over 3 hours. Probably the 1937 one was just as long. Charles wanted to shorten it. In 1953 they erected a pavilion with facilities at the west door of Westminster Abbey so that at the end everyone could relieve themselves and have a refreshment before the procession!
