I use parchment paper on the bottom then spray the sides with non stick spray. Works great

I love this info. I use both baking spray made from butter and parchment paper only for the bottom of the pan

I mostly use the spray method and that works great for me. I've tried the butter and flour method numerous times as well but I never got the crust at the bottom of the cake. I used the parchment paper once for a very moist chocolate cake and the cake got stuck in the pan so it broke while removing from pan.

I've never even bought parchment paper i do use wilton pans only with bakers joy and my cakes come out when they are slightly pulling away from the pan. So easy!

I always use vegetable oil and granulated sugar. The sugar brushes off a lot easier than flour.

I have used all three methods and my cakes still end up sticky to the pan which I hate

That's interesting.... Are you letting your cakes cool completely in the pan?
