The 'Active' ingredient is "Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimealate" and is patented.The #1 is a CONCENTRATE without 'Extra' ingredients so it can be added to Bleach and Color without disturbing the action of the product. The #2 contains some conditioning agents in a creamy formula for easier application and has a little LESS of the 'Active' ( Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimealate ). You shampoo and condition AFTER the treatment so you could use your favorite products for an enhanced experience

Yup, like I mentioned in the video I definitely agree to using a more powerful mask afterwards. But I wanted to keep this Olaplex only, for a more accurate after. I do like their shampoo though. But their conditioner is not enough for a special WOW factor or frizz control. It is nice for everyday use. And I do use it quite a bit. Hugs 🤗
Thanks, as for the Spray Bottle, a lot of people have made the same mistake and OLAPLEX is Non-Toxic but it can cause lung irritation and coughing, I would not want to breathe it on a regular basis but I have not seen any reports of lung damage from breathing it.

I bought 3, 4 and 5 but it made my hair very dry. I just googled that ingredient and mistakenly as it turns out, thought it's a high-performing silicone. For my hair I prefer the routine you did with Kourtney K's hair using Rahua products.
@@ksc743 OLAPLEX does NOT contain SILICONES of any kind. The active ingredient restores broken Disulfide Bonds and creates new ones. Hair can become stiff and brittle from too many disulfide cross bonds and lack of proper moisturizing.
So glad you had a great experience using it. I’ve been doing at home treatments like this with olaplex recently and it really helped my hair.

Nice video! I just put in my treatment. I always use the spray bottle otherwise I waste so much product. I am kinda clumpsy. I do however put a mouth mask on and stand in front of an open window when I spray because I had the same experience as you the first time. This way works perfect for me. Just a tip, when I do my stand alone treatments I put my hair in them little plastic hat things, keeps the product moist as I’ve read that if the product dries in your hair that it doesn’t work! And apparently stops working if you sleep with no2/3 overnight! Xx

Samira J. For olaplex 3? I think it is suggested to leaving it on for 30/40mins but if you want to leave on longer you can place your hair in those plastic hair nets to keep the product moist

Awww Heidi, you’re a life saver! I’ve been wanting to try Olaplex for as long as you’ve been testing it on your channel but I haven’t gotten around to doing it yet ☹️. I want to do stand alone treatments on myself, my hairdresser doesn’t use any of the products unfortunately,

Por favor! mantenete sana que sos el faro que uso para mi pelo... Uso Olaplex, mascarillas... etc... También hice varias veces el stand alone en casa y no usé guantes, le tenía mucha idea porque tengo la piel muy sensible en las manos, pero no pasó nada! Y es muy cierto que acá no hay muchas peluquerías que usen Olaplex. Precisamente antes de hacerme un balayage averigüé en varias peluquerías y al final elegí una que está asociada con Olaplex oficial de Argentina, Vangart Hair Studio, en Belgrano. Estaría muy bueno que hagas un video más adelante con Olaplex + SheaMoisture. Y también una review de tu top 5 o 10 de shampoos!

I love olaplex. Iv bleached my hair (at a salon) for years and always have to take it easy when I have it newly done until it gets strong again. But about 7years ago I'd had my blonde done in the salon an they told me do I want to pay £10 more for olaplex I had no idea what it was so I said yes. (As I was already paying £75 lol) and omg! My hair didn't even feel like it had just been beached! It was strong (not knotty at all!) It felt amazing and all my friends feeling my hair saying it doesnt even feel like it's been bleached at all. I could brush it wet and no knots no sensitivity. I even used high heat on ly newly bleached hair and it felt as strong as ever. Ever since then iv used olaplex for the past 7 years or so *everytime I get my hair bleached at the salon I mean* I truly do believe in the product! I think the hype is correct. As they way it was tested on me you couldn't deny the results as I did the same to my hair for years and I always new how it felt after being bleached an the steps I had to take to take more care after. All these steps went out the window after olaplex my hair was fine. And it is still amazing condition after bleaching my hair for years n years. Friends always ask how is my hair so lovely an how does it always look n feel amazin condition after all that blonde. So I know that I'm not imagining results. As sometimes we tell ourselves things are working just because we use it. This actually does work! 🥰😘

Hello Heidi! You are absolutely right on your impressions about this treatment. Many people has the wrong impression that this will give you and instant transformation to a shiny and frizz free hair and that's wrong. This is all about repair the bonds in your hair due all the bleach and hot tools that is exposed. Hi, Heidi!!! I absolutely LOVE these “Olaplex” videos. I’m currently using only no3&no6 but I also want to try all of them in the future. Can you please review some of the Redken products? Here, in Romania, “Redken Extreme” is very popular&recommended for blonde/ “damage” hair and I actually want to purchase it in a few weeks if you‘ll recommend it too! ❤️ Would you recommend me to by no.4 as my everyday shampoo or should I buy somth’ that fits with my mask? I really like your content btw.🥰
Hi Antoniaaa! I’m gonna see if I can get Redken Extreme and test it out for you ♥️ I use Olaplex N4 quite frequently but I mix it up with stronger shampoos. It is VERY gentle. If you have oily roots you may feel it is not enough. So maybe use a clarifying shampoo every other wash. But when I get “Olaplexed” 😂 I always use N4 shampoo afterwards. I kind of look at my hair and say how is it doing today? Is it greasy? Does my scalp itch? Do I have buildup? Is it dry? And then I decide which shampoo os good for that particular day. I will make a video on shampoos soon. It has been highly requested. Hope I helped you in some way. ♥️

in my personal experience olaplex 3 is better than 2, although i absolutely looove number one for stand alone treatment’s. 😝

I suppose it depends on the kind of hair; my daughter who had fine bleached hair loved the n3, while I never saw much difference with 3 on my coarse highlighted hair, but got much nicer results with n2 which I purchased. more generally, some brandes make now different products for fine or coarser hair, and using the right product helps a lot!
Hello Heidi so they started selling the number 0 spray bottle and as I was applying it to my hair for some reason it made me start coughing ..... Any input?
That’s what happened to me on this video. Use a non-spraying bottle instead like the one that came before. If you can’t maybe try spraying it closer to the hair and as away from your nose and mouth as possible. At least I would try that. Hope that helps Love ❤️

Rose Loftus I am hoping Olaplex will give me length retention. Because we lose so much length due to breakage when highlighting and unfortunately I had a balayage done twice in the past months and my salon doesn’t use Olaplex. So that was a bad thing for my hair.
Hi I just saw you’re video, minutes ago I order that kit online, cos in my country number 1 and 2 are only sell to profesional hairdresser on stores, I decided after watching and reading a lot of the brand, but first I went to a salon that announced the treatment, make an appointment and when I was there the girl just applied number 2 !!
And i was like, ey your missing one, well she said no, number 1 is only for hair color applications, but even so, after 5 days I noticed my hair just a little better, with more shine, so I’m going to bet for olaplex and spend good money on te kit.

Hola hermosa!!! yo tb soy Argentina pero ahora vivo en España...he visto muchos de tus videos y me fascinan!....Quiero preguntarte algo muy importante estoy desesperada con mi cabello se me parte y se me ha caido muchisimo...he perdido ya tres cuartas partes pienso debido a una mala tecnica de mechas....Mi pregunta es: que me recomiendas mejor: Kerastase genesis u Olaplex?. pues de kerastase tb. has hecho video y creo que te ha gustado, pero pienso que olaplex brinda un resultado reparador mas inmediato..es asi?...por otro lado tengo miedo de comprarme el traveling kit de olaplex y hacerlo sola en casa...aunque es muy simple...pero tengo miedo de que el que consiga no sea autentico etc....en cambio podria probar co los pasos que son para usuario es decir del 3 en adelante...Que sera mejor?...tengo el pelo muy finito y me queda poquito no me quiero equivocar..Que me aconsejas? Genesis de kerastase o este?
Holaaaa!!! Ay el quiebre es un tema! Te cuento Olaplex es lo mejor para lo que me contás. Pero lo que ocurre es que si cuando te hacen mechas no usan Olaplex 1 y 2 el quiebre que ocurre en la peluquería ya ocurrió. Lo mejor es usar Olaplex para prevenir. Si lo usás después fortalece y ayuda a que no haya pelo chicle no posterior quiebre y eso ayuda tanto! Pero como te digo hay que intentar que no haya quiebre para empezar. Y ese es un tema si tu Peluquría no usa estos productos como me paso a mí. Lo recuperás un poco después pero lo mejor es que no se quiebre porque no es que de repente te regenera el pelo que ya perdiste. Kerastase tienen alguna máscaras que son soñadas pero eso es un tema más cosmético de hidratación. Son categorías de productos distintos. Y el tema de conseguir productos originales es así de complicado como lo decís. Yo comencé con el Olaplex N3 hace años y me ayudó tanto!!! Comenzá x ahí e intenta conseguir alguna pelu en españa cuando toque decolorarte que tenga Olaplex 1 y 2. Creo q sería lo ideal. Olaplex no hidrata asi que fijate en mis videos si alguna máscara te gusta para vos para complementar esa parte.

Like I mentioned at the beginning of the video: in my country (Argentina) professional stores which are official distribuitors of Olaplex (amongst other brands) will sell to us regular consumers no questions asked. I have included some links in the description box for you guys (not Amazon) but like you said, authenticity is an issue. I feel you could ask a hairdresser friend to buy it for you?

Wow u don’t have to licensed to be a hair dresser there!?!?!???🤦🏼♀️🤯🤯🤯🤯😭😭 Omgness THATS crazzy! I actually am a licensed hair dresser and a licensed professional make up artist. I quit doing hair after a few years of working in salon because I have a bigger passion for make up. But wow, I can’t believe that your country doesn’t make you licensed. I would be terrified to even go to a salon if they weren’t licensed. You have to learn the color wheel and color correction and so much more.! That’s really scary to think Theyr not licensed. Great video gorgeous. I know alot of other hair dressers that HATE Olaplex and REFUSE TO USE IT. Because it takes almost double the time to bleach hair if you use it while bleaching which makes they appointments last way longer and lazy hair dresses hate it
I thought you might find that interesting. They are trained and highly skilled, at least most of them are. But they’re not required to be licensed. Big salons tend to train their own hairdressers themselves they have their own schools and Training Institutes. But by law, hairdressers can work without a license. Yes, Olaplex takes a lot of time so it’s not accepted either to bring the products in. Also, at least here, the cost of highlighting your hair would be through the roof if salons used Olaplex, I think that and the extra time may be the reasons why it it is extremely rare to find a salon that offers it.
Heidi yeah this is very interesting. I always thought/Figured every country you had to be licensed to work in a salon. Well thank god Theyr at least trained.🙏🏼 I was terrified when you said that, but if Theyr being trained it’s not as scary. That’s actually cool they don’t make you spend thousands to work there & give you the training. I had to pay for cosmetology school plus years later I got my license in being professional make up artist by celebrity make up artist ~ Debrah Mackie. 🥰 I was fortunate enough to take her classes. I love doing my true passion Cos it doesn’t feel like work.😹 It’s so fun to be creative. Also yeah olaplex really coats your hair & it makes it sooo Much harder for the bleach to penetrate. It’s very interesting, but I know so many salons here in USA that refuse to use it. Due to how much longer they would have to extend the appointment or they are just to lazy.🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ I bleach my own roots & I usually have to bleach them in two separate sessions (a week apart) due to olaplex. Then on my second bleach ~ I tone my hair directly after too.😉 Really Great video. Your hair looks so PHENOMENAL.!

You can! But it won’t be that effective. It doesn’t do much for me! Need to visit India some day!
jus for your information: when having an olaplex treatment like this in ur hair u CANNOT use hair products that contain keratin/protein (that can cause hair breakage!). After 8-10 weeks it should be out of ur hair completely and then u can either continue using it or stop.
Don’t forget to use products that HYDRATE ur hair while u have the olaplex treatment!

La mia parrucchiera qui in Italia usa olaplex, ma a causa del coronavirus non ho potuto andarci per 3 mesi😞 così ho pensato di trovare una soluzione di emergenza. Viaggio molto per lavoro, spesso non tempo di andare dalla parrucchiera quando vorrei.

I just did a 1 and 2 stand alone treatment on my hair at home. I like it! I'm not even going to bother with 3. I'm going to do 1 and 2 every month and just 2 every week. I don't chemically treat my hair but I do use heat regularly and my stands are fine so I definitely need the heavier stuff!

A mi me gustan los productos de olaplex, y soy estilista profesional, pero cando los use con bleach mi pelo se callo. Todo. Asi que cuidado, no recomiendo que olaplex sea manejado por un profesional que no tenga experiencia con el producto

Olaplex usually comes with a card that gives you the info you need for not only application with a chemical service but the stand alone treatment as well
