Then started asking what color, what stitching. I said surprise me. I want him to feel the slip. I want his vision. You are 1000 percent correct. Have a wonderful day today brother. Finally got some time to watch this one. I know exactly how you feel with time brother it can become a burden instead of a fun hobby that you really enjoy. I think your onto something with the drop system for sure. Being on a time schedule makes stuff stressful almost. Anyway the drop is awesome dude I’m loving what you came up with. All have your personality and flavor to it.
Absolutely love this. I’ve been making my slips in Natural Pueblo as we’re speaking !!! The Pueblo is sweet. But that GEC is even sweeter !!!!! You’re in the shop and I’m doing the same cutting / stamping / sanding then dying and stitching while I’m watching ya !!!! 🍿👍. Grabbed the popcorn and leather and propped up the phone 📱 and there ya are !!!!

I got burned out quickly, working 8-5 then leatherwork late every night after my wife and kids went to bed. I have a hard time saying no to people, and trying to accommodate for everyone’s special requests became exhausting and I wasn’t enjoying it. Best thing I did was change my business model. Props to acknowledging it before any of that happened to you brother!
Awesome leather is there a good reasonbly priced kit that would be all I needed to get started that you recommend? Man some beautiful slips. I agree create your own paths. Sounds good bro ! Its nice to get a shout out from someone its the only reason I am above a 100 subs 😂 nice job my man
where is the Shell Cordovan and Cordovan, Bison and Stingray leather ? Charging premium prices and using harness leather when you can get more premium leathers from other makers for the same price or less doesn't make since and most of these knife guys know very little about leather . I got a 4 1/4 inch Bison leather slip for $20 that is top notch craftsmanship and leather from a maker on Etsy. If somebody is wanting to make slips than be on the level of professionals and use things other than harness leather and be competitively priced. Just Sayin. I don't care how much somebody is into pocketknives who makes slips. The market is now flooded with makers and half of them are selling stuff at premium prices and they aren't truly premium products and mostly because they don't have enough years of experience making leather goods.
