It is best to start with a warm-up round of just conscious breathing.
    0:00 INTRO
    0:12 ROUND 1 - 1:30min Breath Hold
    3:33 ROUND 2 - 2:00min Breath Hold
    7:24 ROUND 3 - 2:00min Breath Hold
    11:14 ROUND 4 - 2:30min Breath Hold
Simply relax and breathe in through your nose into your belly then into the chest into the head and then let it all go out of the mouth. Think about how you breathe, and focus your attention on the breath only.
After the warm-up you can proceed with the first round. I suggest you start with a slower pace with shallower breaths and work your way up. The last round should be your maximum breathing speed and maximum depth of the breath.
But be careful not to force anything. If you experience any discomfort, just take it easier.
Remember, the goal of doing this is to make you feel good :)
The Wim Hof Breathing technique in general is meant for everyone who would like to improve the way they feel. Performed correctly and daily, this breathing exercise tends to strengthen the immune system and relieve symptoms of stress in the individual.
    Step by step instructions:
    1. Breathe in through the nose or mouth. Inhale deeply into your belly, then into your chest, and finally into your head. One complete circular motion. Then exhale. Just let the air out naturally and do not force the air out. Repeat this until the round is over (30-50 breaths)
    2. On the last exhale of each breathing round, hold your breath for the duration shown on the timer.
    3. After the breath hold, inhale fully and hold your breath for 15 seconds. Then let the air out of your lungs again and start again from the beginning.
    4. Repeat each round :)
    Safety information:
The breathing exercise has a profound effect and should be practiced in the way it is explained. Always do the breathing exercise in a safe environment (e.g. sitting on a couch/floor) and unforced. Never practice the exercises before or during diving, driving, swimming, taking a bath or in any other environment/place where, should you pass out, a serious injury could occur.

Hello. For everybody who prefers to do the exercise without music or wants to play their own music instead, I made a version of this session without the music. Feel free to give it a try. You can find it here: th-cam.com/video/YoYCpcklzqM/w-d-xo.html
And thank you for all the support on this channel! :)

I am 78 years old and at the beginning (about 2 months ago) it took me a few tries to reach 1.5 minutes...I do them twice a day and have now reached the point where I can accomplish this one. I had been a lite smoker...both marijuana and cigarettes since I was 25. I smoked for the last time Aug. 6, 2022 and am now believing I have a future...thanks Wim 🙂

Same stuff, only I'm 20. Anxiety's a goner. Quit drinking 2 weeks ago, didn't smoke for a little over a week (probably not for long though). Never felt any better past 2 years, and post covid depression is finally going away. Thought it's gonna get worse in October, but gladly quitting alcohol and breathing works. Today was a rainy day, puddles reflecting the street and the trees still green, it's beautiful. Don't remember the last time i sincerely enjoyed the scenery like today.

I don't think the young folks realize how impressive it is that people your age and mine, 77, are doing this with success. In fact, I think that we get the most benefits out of it since our bodies are in decline and not what they use to be. It's easy to be young, as you know.

I love this video. I paused a few times to give myself a few more rounds of breathing before the long exhale and hold. I’m 35, struggling with depression, anxiety, and maybe something bordering on bipolar disorder. Two of my close relatives had severe bipolar disorder and sadly lost their battle too young. Breathwork and psilocybin have both helped me tremendously over the past year or so. Thanks for making these videos. ❤

    • @breathcentral764
      @breathcentral764  ปีที่แล้ว +3

The same thing happens to pretty much everybody. But do not worry, you are in no way causing any damage to your hearing. It is just a temporary sensation because the little hearing cells get excited due to so much oxygen in your body :) For example I hear a rush of white noise/wind like sound and almost every other sound around me disappears.

I don't understand what I am doing wrong.
I train Wim Hof breathing now daily for over 90 days and I barely reach the 1,5 min mark breath holding. I never got longer than that. I watched several times in other videos how Wim Hof is breathing in and how I should release the air without pushing, so that I breath in more air then I release. But whatever I do, I always reach the point of uncomfortable asphyxiation-feeling around 1:15 min and at the latest at 1:30 min I HAVE TO BREATH or I pass out.
Any one any ideas what I am doing wrong? ):

I'm wondering if you're able to choose where you put the ads in your video? 2 ads in the middle is challenging.

Hey, my channel is currently not even monetized. TH-cam seems to have put the ads on automatically for a reason. I tried to remove them, but unfortunately couldn't. However, I just applied for monetization and hopefully this will give me at least some control over the ads, so I can only put them in the beginning of the video and not interrupt your session.

    Why not fully exhale.?

Wim. You put advertisements in the middle of the session? I hold the breath and buum. My phone start shauthing a stupid ad. Why you don't put ad on the front of video and on the end? This is stupid.

True. It's not a full exhale. More like letting air out of your lungs naturally, not forcing it. Good point for my upcoming videos. Thank you!

This is NOT Wim Hof. This is a guy making money with the Wim Hof method. That’s why there is a disturbing add halfway the session. At least he was honest admitting that he is NOT Wim Hof.

However, I just applied for monetization and hopefully this will give me at least some control over the ads, so I can only put them in the beginning of the video and not interrupt your session. I started with this channel because my favorite sessions from the official Wim Hof channel got deleted, and I decided to do my own sessions which are based on my preferred breathing and timing. Why did I upload them? So I have them wherever I go.. at home, at the office, travelling. After I got positive comments from people I just kept on making more and more versions, that's it. Never made a single cent from this. I even pay monthly for a service to get access to lots of stock videos and music, so the videos are at least somewhat decent.

Merci Breath central !
