    Thank you so much, Joel! We’re thrilled you loved the knife! It means the world to us after all the time and effort we put into designing it. Your videos are such an inspiration, and seeing our project featured is a dream come true. Keep being awesome! 🙌🔪

      Hey Fayron what material do you suggest to print with?

    • @fayron_global

      @@quickfixstatHi! Thanks for your question! 😊
      We’ve had great results using GreenTEC Pro by Extrudr. It’s a tough material but very easy to print with-similar to PLA, but with an exceptional finish. The prints you see on our Printables profile were made with this material and printed on a Prusa MK4.
      We’ve also created custom profiles for it, which you can find on Printables to make your setup even easier. Let us know if you give it a try! 🚀

      Can you make a version that has multiple steps to lock the blade in place, rather than just fully extended, and fully retracted?

      @@facenameple4604 Thank you for your suggestion! Adding multiple locking positions for the blade is an interesting idea. We’ll consider it for future developments. If you have specific needs, feel free to share them-your feedback is always valuable.

    I've got several printed in PLA (not the same design, but the same function) and they work really well. My blades have a sideways deflecting key for locking and unlocking. 2 part print. Very nice.

    You could anchor the table top to the strand board wall using angle brackets underneath. My "table" is a 24" deep melamine laminated board anchored to the studs in the wall with heavy duty shelf brackets every 16". Does not move even the tiniest bit.

    I have some issues with my Anycubic Kobra 2. I still have yet to get a good print without screwing up one thing or another in the print. Either the infill isnt sticking to the walls correctly and staying rigid, or the first layer messes up or doesnt have a clean face, etc. Ive looked for help all over and have yet to find it even on anycubic website. I can buy a new printer but im a bit minimalistic so i dont want 2 printers when i have no use for two

    Aren't you worried about handling CF filled filaments? I think that promoting handling of such materials without any coating is unethical at best..

    • @ZoroSeerus
      @ZoroSeerus 25 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      It’s totally reasonable to be wary of potential safety hazards but you’re acting like there’s conclusive proof that all CF filled materials are unsafe. There isn’t and it’ll vary on how they’re made.
      Don’t let the one hack’s TH-cam video completely shape your viewpoint.
      You obviously don’t need to use CF Nylon for this but also let’s not act like he’s promoting unsafe practices. It’s unknown at best

    • @unnamedfowl
      @unnamedfowl 25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@ZoroSeerus I'm just suggesting that a quick mention of possible risks could help somebody making a more informed choice when buying filament. I'm open to changing my mind if some new study comes up showing that carbon/glass filled filaments are safe to use. As of now, I'm sticking with non-filled plastics to be on the safe side.

    Just curious if you can buy a utility knife for as little as $2.50 at a store. Why print it. The store bought knifes are also metal and have safety built into them. And I'm sure they'll last longer, I have a couple over 50 years. I do have 3 printers. But this isn't something I'd put in my pocket. I have a regular pocket knife for everyday carry.😊
